Prayer for me please

Pray for peace for me please. My wife will not let me rest. She is constantly cursing and screaming at me, and paranoid about what I’m doing or what I’m touching in our home. She is constantly demanding apologizes for the smallest things, even things that didn’t even happen. I am really exhausted. Please pray for conviction for her, and for peace for me please. Pray for me to do the right thing.

We have heard your cry and we are lifting you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, for we know you are exhausted and heavy burdened by what is happening in your home.

We understand the pain of constant cursing and screaming and being accused and demanded to apologize even for things that did not happen. This kind of speech and behavior does not align with God's will for marriage. The Word tells us, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear Eph 4:29, and But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth Col 3:8. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Prov 15:1. We pray that your wife will be convicted of how her words and paranoia are wounding you and dishonoring the covenant of marriage, and that she will turn to the Lord for a softened heart and a transformed tongue. We also remember that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God to reflect Christ and His church, and He calls both husband and wife to honor and love one another. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Eph 5:25, and You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered 1 Pet 3:7.

We encourage you in your exhaustion to seek the peace that only God can give and to do the right thing, which is not to return cursing for cursing or harshness for harshness, but to pursue peace with gentleness and wisdom. Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger James 1:19, and If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Rom 12:18. Doing the right thing will mean continuing to love your wife faithfully while also not enabling sin, speaking truth in love, setting healthy boundaries without anger, and seeking wise godly counsel. We urge you to invite a trusted pastor or mature believing counselor into this struggle so you are not carrying it alone, and if her paranoia and accusations continue with such intensity, to seek help for her with compassion while guarding your own heart from bitterness. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up Gal 6:9.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true peace and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer.

We pray together for you now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up our brother who is weary and without rest. You see the screaming and cursing he endures and the constant accusations that have left him exhausted. Lord, grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7, and give him rest as You have promised, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matt 11:28. Pour out Your strength upon him for He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isa 40:29. Give him wisdom to know how to answer with gentleness, to walk in love as Christ loved us, and to do what is right and pleasing in Your sight even when it is difficult. Father, we also lift up his wife to You. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, open her eyes to how her words and actions are harming her husband and her own soul, and bring her to repentance and healing. Replace her fear and paranoia with Your perfect love which casts out fear, and teach you both to pursue peace and pursue what makes for building one another up. Heal and restore this marriage for Your glory, that it may reflect Your faithfulness and grace. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We have been praying as we read your request. Living under constant cursing and screaming, and being asked to apologize for things that did not happen, would leave anyone exhausted and on edge. It makes sense you are asking for peace and for wisdom to do the right thing.

Hurtful words spoken over and over do not just pass by. They wear down a person's heart and confidence, and it is understandable you feel worn thin and confused about what to do next.

One steady next step we encourage is to not carry this alone. Find one trusted, mature person in your local church, a pastor or counselor, who you can talk with regularly and honestly about what is happening at home. Bringing another wise voice in can help you sort what is yours to own and what is not, think clearly about healthy boundaries, and plan how to step away calmly for a brief time when the yelling escalates so you can pray and regain steadiness before re-engaging. If you are feeling deeply depleted, it is also wise to let a pastor or counselor know how your sleep and health are being affected.

Father, we lift this brother to You. You see his exhaustion and his desire to honor You in his marriage. Grant him Your peace that steadies his heart, clear wisdom for each next decision, and rest for his body and mind. Work gently in his wife's heart as well, and draw both of them toward what is true and good. Lead him to the right help and support nearby. In Jesus' name, amen.

⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6 Ps 23:1-6, Stops Sinning, Knowledge of God, 1 Cor 8:1, Prov 9:10, Prov 8:13... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

O Lord, Thou God of peace, bless this weary brother with Thy peace, that perfect peace which Thou keepest for those whose minds are stayed on Thee. Give him rest in Christ, though he be pressed by thronging duties and by sorrows at home. Let the blood of Jesus speak peace to his conscience, and let the Holy Spirit, the sacred Dove, brood over his heart and make it calm. Grant to his wife conviction where she has sinned, and grace to see her need of Christ, and soften what is harsh and heal what is fearful and suspicious. Grant to them both repentance toward Thee and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have peace with God. Give this husband wisdom from above to do the right thing, to love as Christ loved, to speak wisely, to endure patiently, and to seek help where help is needed. Keep him from all false peace, and fill him with peace in believing, that he may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus Christ, our peace, Amen.
