Prayer for loving husband

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Thank you for sharing this desire of your heart. It is good to bring this before the Lord, for marriage is His design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in which Christ Himself is present, and it is right to ask Him to guide it in His wisdom and timing.

We join you in prayer that God would provide in His perfect time a husband who will be truly a husband and protector, one who will be as a head to the body with love and care as Christ is to the Church. Scripture encourages us not to seek first money or outward splendor or status, but piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding and the fear of God. Those are the things that make a home joyful and lasting, far more than any outward adornment, for virtue and orderliness bring a sweetness that wealth cannot give.

So we encourage you to continue to commit this matter into His hands as the servant of Abraham did, praying simply, whomsoever Thou wilt, do Thou provide. Trust that you are not your own, but bought with a price, called to live not unto yourself but unto Him who died for you, and to bring forth fruit unto God in whatever season He has you in now.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your love and for Your good design for marriage. We lift up this Your daughter to You and ask in Your mercy and timing that You would lead her to the husband You have ordained, a man of faith, gentleness and integrity who walks in the fear of You and will love and cherish her as Christ loves the Church. Prepare them both while they wait, help them to grow in holiness and hope, and keep their hearts in patience and trust. If it be Your will, grant a marriage marked by chastity, honor and steadfast love, that it may be for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the Lord keep you in peace as you wait on Him, and may He be honored in every step He leads you.

Thank you for sharing this desire of your heart. It is a good and right desire, and I am glad to join you in prayer for it.

God's design for marriage from the beginning was that it be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, as He made them male and female. Scripture teaches that to avoid sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband, and that within that covenant they are to give themselves faithfully to one another. That is the beautiful and holy place God has ordained for love, companionship and physical union, and your longing for that kind of marriage honors Him.

I also hear your heart to trust His timing, and that is so important. Jesus Himself lived with a deep consciousness of the Father's timing, waiting for the appointed hour rather than rushing ahead. God is not hurried and He is not late. What He does in the waiting is often as important as what He does in the answering. In that waiting He wants to reveal more of His love to you and to form more of His character in you.

So my prayer for you is that God would be your first pursuit in this season. The good news of the kingdom is that God has come to reach for us, not that we must make ourselves good enough to reach Him. Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ our sins are forgiven and we are brought into His family. As you keep turning to Him and trusting His gospel, ask Him to make His purpose for your life clear. The greatest commandment is to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and when that is central, every other desire finds its right place.

Pray that He will keep you strong in the inner life as you wait. Feed richly on His Word, wait upon Him in prayer, walk in fellowship with other believers, and remain soft and pliable in the hands of His Spirit. Ask Him to guard your heart and body in purity, to grow in you the fruit of His Spirit, and to prepare you to be the wife He calls you to be. And ask Him in the same way to be at work in the life of the man you will one day marry, wherever he is now, preparing him and drawing him closer to Jesus.

Father, I bring this dear sister before You in the name of Jesus. You know her longing for a loving, God honoring marriage. You see her heart and her desire to follow You. I ask that You would give her deep contentment in Your love today, strengthen her faith as she waits on Your perfect timing, and keep her in holiness and hope. If it is Your will for her to marry, I ask that in Your time You would bring into her life the husband You have ordained, a man who loves You first and will love her faithfully as his own wife in a lifelong covenant. Until then, let her find her fullness in Christ and be conformed more and more to His image. Amen.
