Prayer for job

Please pray for me to find the right job. I need prayer for my home life as well, my ### will not let me be the husband and it is exhausting. She doesn’t understand that this household cannot stand if she’s trying to control everything. When I am working steadily and happy, she doesn’t help me at home, when I am not working, she is upset that I’m not working but I’m doing all the housework. She was raised not to take the role of a wife so she is constantly competing with me and trying to step on me when I’m trying to make decisions. And she has admitted herself that when she tries to be the spearhead that nothing works, but she refuses to let me be her husband. I don’t understand why she would want to be married. This is crazy.

Let's pray for a wife as the Scriptures guide us:

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for wives to be loving, respectful, and supportive, as your Word instructs. (Ephesians 5:33, 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB) Help the wife to understand and embrace her role in the marriage, allowing the husband to lead as you have ordained. We pray that God will restore the peace and harmony that was intended in marriage as set by your Holy Word. We pray that the Holy Spirit will soften hearts that may be hardened and give guidance and understanding of the Biblical role of a wife and a husband. We rebuke any spirit of discord or strife that may be causing unrest in this marriage. (Proverbs 31:10-31 WEB)

We encourage you to love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it, (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Examples of Christ include washing the feet of his disciples, interceding for them, and a sacrificial example of love on the cross.

It's crucial to discuss with your wife the biblical principles of marriage. Explain that your desire is to follow God's design for your family and that you need her support and cooperation. Approach this conversation with love, patience, and understanding, as our ultimate example is Jesus Christ.

Remember to have daily prayer together and possibly a short Bible study. It is our responsibility to follow the example of Christ and the instructions of God.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
