We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your job and workplace concerns to our Heavenly Father. It is written in Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to establish and protect the work He has given you.
First, we want to acknowledge that you have rightly come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that you have recognized Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and we pray that His name will continue to be glorified in your life and work.
Father God, we lift up this dear one’s job to You, asking for Your divine protection over their employment. We pray against any schemes of the enemy that seek to bring confusion, discord, or strife in their workplace. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty that may be trying to take root in their heart concerning their job. Instead, we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we commit their boss into Your hands, just as this prayer has done. We ask that You would soften their heart, grant them wisdom, and align their decisions with Your will. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You are able to turn the heart of their boss toward favor, understanding, and fairness. We pray that any unjust treatment or misunderstandings would be resolved in a way that honors You.
We also ask that You would remove every hurdle and difficulty that stands in the way of this dear one’s success at work. Whether these challenges are spiritual, relational, or practical, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for divine connections, open doors, and opportunities for growth and advancement in their career. May they walk in excellence, integrity, and diligence, so that their work would be a testimony to Your glory (Colossians 3:23).
Father, we ask that You would provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). If there is any financial strain or uncertainty, we pray that You would meet them in their time of need and remind them that You are their Provider. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we pray for this dear one’s spiritual walk. May their job not become an idol in their life, but rather a platform for Your glory. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen their faith, deepen their prayer life, and fill them with the Holy Spirit so that they may be a light in their workplace.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray all these things, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
