We join you in lifting this need before the Lord, knowing that He is our Provider and sustains us in every circumstance. It is good that you come to Him daily, for He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Yet, we must humbly remind you that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, who is our Mediator before the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to God’s throne of grace (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). We do not see you acknowledging the name of Jesus in your prayer, and this is not a small matter—it is the very foundation of our faith. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for without Him, even our most heartfelt prayers fall short.
As for your need for hotel rent, we understand the weight of financial burdens and the anxiety they can bring. But we also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this situation. Are you in this position due to circumstances beyond your control, or are there areas where you might need to trust God more fully for provision or direction? Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Have you sought wisdom from godly counsel or explored all possible avenues of stewardship, such as budgeting, seeking temporary housing through a church, or humbly asking others in the body of Christ for help? The Lord often provides through His people, and we should not hesitate to allow others to bless us as we walk in humility.
We also gently ask: Is there any area of disobedience in your life that might be hindering your prayers? The Bible tells us in Psalm 66:18, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* And in James 4:3, we read, *"You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* Let us examine our hearts before the Lord, repenting of anything that does not align with His will, so that our prayers may be unhindered.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You meet their need for shelter and provision. You know the depths of their heart and the urgency of their situation. Lord, we pray that if there is any area of unbelief or disobedience, You would lovingly convict and lead them to repentance. Open doors for them, Lord—whether through unexpected provision, the generosity of Your people, or a path they have not yet considered. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to trust You even when the way seems unclear. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). And above all, Father, draw them closer to You through this trial. Let them know the peace that surpasses understanding and the joy of walking in full surrender to Your will.
We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might have life abundantly. May You be glorified in this situation, and may this dear one come to know You more deeply as their Provider, Redeemer, and King. Amen.
