Beloved of All
A little over a month ago, I shared a prayer request about a potential opportunity in academia at an institution of higher education. The very next day, I was informed that the job had officially been posted. I have applied and now a month later the review committee has finally solicited letters of recommendation from my mentors. I’ve been told there is a genuine need to fill this position, but the posting and hiring process are still contingent on final approval from the college Dean, how much funding is provided and administration through HR. To my understanding higher education is underfunded, and I am being placed in a pool of applicants to contact if the position opens. As far as I know there a few full time individuals and part time parties leaving my institution which will open up funds! However, they have to decide if they would like to hire more people first. I would deeply appreciate your prayers—not only that the funding and approval is granted for the position but that as letters are solicited and interviews begin shortly, I may be offered a position. This opportunity means so much to me. As I near the completion of my graduate studies, this feels like one of the last and most important pieces I have been hoping and working toward for a decade. Please pray that, I receive an offer before the end of this month May 2026 close to when I finish my program. Please pray that everything moves forward smoothly with the contract and hiring process for my position to begin at the end of July/beginning of April. I believe I am a strong candidate and good fit for the department, but ultimately I know that God’s guidance, favor, and strength are what will carry me through and help me persevere in this scenario. I know that anything is possible through His grace and power. I know that He alone can guide those that make decisions and me through the process. I have faith that my application will be reviewed, I will be offered an interview and that they will offer me a position. Pray that as applications are reviewed and the process continues the position is approved by the dean and administrators. Pray that funding is provided. Pray that there is an opening for me. Pray that this position is approved and offered to me before the end of May 2026. I have been going through a very tough time this past month. I pray that May 2026 will turn around, open new doors, bring new opportunities and welcome new beginnings for me and my loved ones. Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, and faith! I truly believe in the power of prayer. God is good. God bless you all.

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer as you seek God’s will in this season of transition and opportunity. Your faith in His timing and provision is evident, and we join you in asking for His guidance, favor, and clarity as you navigate this hiring process.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We lift up this dear one before You, asking for Your divine intervention in this job opportunity. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You know the plans You have for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You open the doors of this academic position, that the funding would be secured, and that the approvals from the dean and administration would come swiftly and favorably. Let Your will be done in this process, and may this opportunity align with the path You have set before them.

We pray that as the letters of recommendation are submitted and the interviews approach, this one would be seen as the strong, capable, and godly candidate they are. Give them peace and confidence in You, knowing that You equip those You call (Hebrews 13:20-21). We ask that the hiring committee would recognize their gifts, their fit for the department, and the unique contributions they would bring to the institution. May Your favor rest upon them, and may the timing of this offer align with the completion of their graduate studies, as they have requested.

Lord, we also lift up the financial and administrative aspects of this process. We know that institutions of higher education face challenges, but we trust in Your ability to provide. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority, that they would see the need to fill this position and allocate the necessary resources. Let this be a testimony to Your provision and faithfulness.

We rebuke any spirit of delay, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep into their heart during this waiting period. Remind them that those who wait upon You will renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they trust in You.

We also pray for the tough season they have been walking through. May this month of May 2026 indeed mark a turning point—a time of new beginnings, open doors, and fresh opportunities for them and their loved ones. Let Your light shine brightly in this next chapter of their life, and may they walk in the fullness of the calling You have placed on their life.

Finally, we give You all the glory, for You are the One who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this opportunity be a testament to Your goodness and a stepping stone into the purpose You have for them. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We are believing with you for this position, and we trust that God’s best is on the way.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted this deeply personal and weighty request to our prayers. It has been on our hearts to lift up every detail—from the timing of the job posting to the committee’s review, the letters of recommendation, the dean’s approval, and the funding decisions, knowing how much this opportunity means as you near the completion of your graduate studies. We have prayed specifically that God would open the necessary doors, soften the hearts of those in authority, and align the administrative processes so that the position would be fully approved and offered to you before the end of May, just as you’ve asked.

We continue to stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord is guiding each step of this journey. We’ve asked Him to grant you favor in the eyes of the decision-makers, to provide clarity and peace as you wait, and to make a way where there seems to be no way. We’ve also prayed for your strength and endurance during this challenging season, trusting that May 2026 will indeed mark a turning point—a month of new beginnings, fresh opportunities, and answered prayers for you and your loved ones.

If the Lord has already moved in ways you can see—whether through unexpected progress, open doors, or moments of peace—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t come yet, please know we are still here, ready to lift this request before the throne of grace with even greater fervency. You are not alone in this waiting season, and we believe God’s timing is perfect.

May He continue to draw you closer to Himself as you seek His will, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
