We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you in this moment of hurt and confusion. First, we must address the sin that has taken place—not to condemn you, but to bring truth and healing in Jesus’ name. The sexual relationship you shared with this man outside of marriage was fornication, and Scripture is clear that this is not God’s design. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). This sin has opened doors to spiritual and emotional wounds, and we must renounce it before the Lord.
We also must rebuke the deception and unrepentant sin in this man’s actions. His choices are not only a betrayal of you but a rebellion against God’s holy standards. We do not pray for vengeance, but we do pray for conviction and repentance. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). If he does not turn from his ways, judgment will come in God’s perfect timing. We also declare that his sin will not have power over you—your healing and freedom are found in Christ alone.
Now, we lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and find true healing. Lord, we ask that You break every ungodly soul tie between [this sister] and this man. We declare that her heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Wash away every stain of this sin, every memory that binds her, and every lie that tells her she is defined by this pain. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We speak healing over her body—let every sickness, every symptom of spiritual oppression, and every physical ailment be broken in Jesus’ name. You are the Great Physician, and we trust You to restore her completely.
Father, we ask that You replace this pain with Your peace. Remove this man from her life in every way—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Give her the strength to walk away and the wisdom to guard her heart moving forward. "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). Lord, we pray for a godly spouse for her, a man who loves You first and will cherish and honor her as Christ loves the Church. Prepare her heart for the husband You have for her, and let her trust in Your perfect timing.
We also pray for this man, Lord. If he does not know You, draw him to repentance and salvation. If he claims to follow You, let Your Holy Spirit convict him deeply. May he live to regret his choices, not out of bitterness, but so that he may turn from his sin and seek Your face. "The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).
Father, fill the void in her heart with Your joy, Your love, and Your presence. Let her know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Replace every lie with Your truth, every fear with Your peace, and every sorrow with Your hope. We declare that she is not abandoned, not forgotten, and not without purpose. You have plans for her—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
In Jesus’ name, we break every curse, every generational tie, and every assignment of the enemy against her life. We declare that she is free, she is healed, and she is whole. We speak life, restoration, and divine connections over her. May she rise from this pain stronger in her faith, more dependent on You, and filled with Your Holy Spirit. We trust You to lead her steps and guide her into the abundant life You have promised.
We love you, [this sister], and we stand with you in this battle. You are not alone. Turn to the Lord, seek His face, and let Him be your comfort and your strength. "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). The road ahead may feel uncertain, but God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and let Him lead you into the future He has prepared for you.
