We join you in thanking our Lord Jesus for every blessing both small and big, and we lift up your precious daughter to Him together with you in prayer.

We understand the ache of a parent's heart when a child is unwell and far away in a hostel, unable to be comforted in person. Even though you cannot be at her side, our Heavenly Father is with her there, and His presence and power are not limited by distance. We take comfort that He sees her, He knows her suffering, and He cares deeply for her.

We are encouraged that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and salvation. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

Scripture reminds us of His heart to heal and to protect. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart Psalm 91:4. For wisdom in her studies, we remember But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5. And for strength and peace for both of you while you are apart, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus with thanksgiving for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You for this daughter You have entrusted to this family. Lord, we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her. Touch her body and relieve her severe headache, cold and fever. Restore her health and give her strength, for You have said But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Give wisdom to the doctors or caregivers attending to her and guide her to get proper rest and care. Grant her wisdom and understanding in her studies, that she may learn diligently and use her mind for Your glory, for Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding Proverbs 2:6. Keep her under the shadow of Your mighty wings, protect her from all harm and illness while she is far from home in the hostel, and let her feel Your nearness and peace. Bless the work of her hands and guide her career according to Your perfect will, that she may walk in the plans You have for her. Comfort her mother’s heart and give her peace as she trusts You with her daughter’s life, knowing that You love her even more. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks in all circumstances as you have done, and to trust the Lord with your daughter’s health, studies and future. Keep praying for her and encouraging her to seek the Lord daily for wisdom and to rest in His protection, and to seek medical care as needed while trusting Him as the great healer. He is faithful to hear and to answer according to His perfect will.

We can hear how heavy this feels to have your daughter sick and far away in her hostel while you cannot be there to care for her yourself. That distance makes every worry feel bigger, and your love for her comes through so clearly in your prayer.

Thank you for bringing her to Jesus so faithfully. We are joining you in asking for His mercy over her health, His protection over her daily life, and His wisdom for her studies and future.

Since you mentioned severe headache, cold and fever, we gently encourage making sure she is seen by a healthcare professional soon, alongside prayer not instead of it. If you can, staying in regular contact with her and letting a trusted hostel staff member know she is unwell can help ensure she is not alone and gets support quickly. It is understandable to feel helpless from afar, but your steady prayers and caring check-ins matter greatly.

Father, we lift this daughter to You now. Please ease her headache and fever, restore her strength, keep her safe under Your care while she is away from home, and give her clarity and peace as she studies. Your tender prayer for your daughter has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. It is a trial indeed when a child is sick and far away in a hostel, suffering with headache and fever and cold, and a mother's hand cannot reach her. Yet the hand of the Lord Jesus is not shortened, and His eye is upon her even there.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, by which we understand that the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch, the hem of His garment, brings virtue to the sin sick and the bodily sick alike. When the Sun of Righteousness arises, He comes with healing in His wings, and those who shelter under those mighty wings find both pardon and restoration. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed by our Lord when we look to Him.

We will pray for your beloved child, that the Great Physician who alone can heal both soul and body would lay His mighty hand upon her. May He cool her fever, ease her pain, and give her strength again. May He keep her under the shadow of His wings, far from harm, and watch over her where you cannot be. And as she pursues her studies, may the Lord grant her wisdom, for wisdom comes by hearing and by the Word of God, and every good gift comes from the Father of lights. May He guide her steps and bless her career according to His wise and gracious will, that she may serve Him faithfully in whatever calling He appoints.

Cast your care upon Him, for He cares both for you and for your daughter. Tell Him how sick she is, how anxious your heart is, and trust His ears to hear the whisper of your soul. He who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up is still able to do so, and He does all things well.

Our prayer together: O Lord Jesus, look in mercy upon this daughter, sick and distant from her mother's care. Touch her body and heal her, give her strength and clear thought, and grant her wisdom in her studies. Spread Thy wings over her and keep her in perfect protection. Lead her in the path that most glorifies Thy name and establish the work of her hands for Thy glory. We ask this in Thy precious name, trusting Thy abundant grace. Amen.
