I have been married for twenty five years to a wonderful and loving husband, yet his Bipolar disorder has taken away the person that I know and replaced him with someone who seems strange, distant and isolated from our marriage and from God.

He takes a variety of meds for this issue and also has blood pressure problems and takes meds for them as well. Right now we are going through so much stress, he was laid off last May, got another job in November working 12 hour shifts, and then lost that one. It seems that he is disappointed about life and that he could not stay at that job because financially it was a better paid position, just not a permanent guarantee. He recently started a new job and it is not anywhere near what he was making before at any of his jobs, the pay is so low that it is hard to make ends meet. Our marriage has suffered a tremendous blow because of all the stress. He just seems so different from the person I know him to be. He really does no appear to be happy about much of anything. It is almost like he has stopped putting anything into our marriage at all. I feel sad and empty at times when I don't see him trying. I need prayer for intimacy to return with us, for him to realize his need for Christ, to be consistent in my faith walk and he as well. I also need wisdom on how to pray for him and strength to love him as Christ does. I would like healing for him and for the depression to lift so that he could find something to be hopeful about. I know that can only come from God and it appears there are many strongholds in his life that are keeping him from an intimate and close walk with the Lord as well as closeness with me. Please pray that the Lord would move in a mighty way with my husband Michael and our marriage as well as his bipolar disorder. Also pray that we can keep our house as we are currently fighting foreclosure and hope to have an arrangement that will help us to keep our home. Thank you for your prayers.

Oh, Jesus, please hear this prayer, Lord. You know your daughter's heart is hurting, but I praise you because the Holy Spirit comforts. Please show her your presence, and continue to draw her to you. Lord, please pour your Holy Spirit out on her husband's mind and give him some peace and clarity. Please bless them to have the mind of Christ every day, and to put on the spirital armor every morning to combat the arrows of the enemy. I praise You because You hear and answer. In Jesus' Name. Amen
