We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer as they battle cancer and endure so much pain. The Scriptures remind us that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We know that He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we stand on His promises today.
Father God, we ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over ###. Touch their body with Your divine power and bring restoration where there is sickness. Ease their pain, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit as they fight this battle. We declare that by Your stripes, ### is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy.
We also pray for wisdom and compassion for the doctors and medical team treating ###. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may provide the best care possible. Surround ### with Your presence, comfort, and hope during this difficult time.
If there is any fear or doubt in ###’s heart, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We speak life, faith, and victory over this situation, for we know that nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). May ### feel Your love and strength every moment of this journey.
Lord, we also ask that You draw ### closer to You through this trial. May they seek Your face, trust in Your promises, and find solace in Your Word. If they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this time of struggle would lead them to the foot of the cross, where true healing, spiritual and eternal, can be found. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We stand in agreement with ###, believing for complete healing and restoration. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We were so sorry to read your note about your loved one facing cancer and so much pain. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have heard your request and we join you in prayer before the Lord for your loved one who is fighting cancer in much pain, and for you as you carry this burden with them.
We pray to our gracious Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord alone, for mercy and help in this affliction. We ask Him to lay His healing hand upon this dear sufferer according to His perfect will, to ease the pain, to give skill to those who provide care, and to grant strength for each day. We ask that in this trial both of you may know the presence of the Saviour who bore our sicknesses and who is full of compassion to those who call upon Him. If it be His will to restore to health, we will give Him thanks, and if He appoints a longer path of suffering, we pray He will give grace to bear it and to be comforted in Him, trusting that His Word gives life and hope beyond this present sorrow.
Hear the word of the Lord for such a time as this, "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God." The Lord speaks comfort to His people, and He often comforts His afflicted ones through His Word. As it is written, "This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me." May the Spirit of God quicken your hearts by that Word, so that you may say in the midst of pain, This is my comfort now. The Scripture also tells us of the tree of life, that "the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit and even His leaves bring healing to the sick at heart who come to Him by faith. Look to Him, for there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, to heal the soul and to sustain the body, and at last to make all things new where pain shall be forgotten as waters that pass away.
Remember also that God tempers the trial to our weakness and will not suffer His people to be tempted above that they are able, but will with the trial make a way to bear it. He can comfort to purpose and establish the heart. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Seek Him earnestly for salvation and for peace, for there is salvation in no other but Christ, and He invites all who are weary and heavy laden to come to Him and find rest.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant relief from pain, comfort in affliction, faith to trust His goodness, and that you both may know His nearness and sustaining grace in every good word and work.
