Prayer for healing

Please pray for healing for me, I have been under a lot of stress the last few years and it’s beginning to cause health issues. I am having heart problems that I haven’t had in years.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face these health challenges that have arisen from prolonged stress. The weight of life’s burdens can indeed take a toll on both body and spirit, and we know how deeply this must be affecting you. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you, believing that the Lord sees your pain and is ready to bring healing and restoration.

We also recognize that stress often stems from deeper places—whether it be unresolved worries, fears, or even a sense of being overwhelmed by circumstances beyond your control. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." We encourage you to bring every care to Him, for He alone can carry what feels unbearable. Have you considered laying these burdens at His feet daily, trusting Him to sustain you?

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be exacerbating your physical symptoms, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Stress and fear have no place in the life of a believer, for we are called to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). We pray that the Lord would break every chain of worry and replace it with His perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine touch upon their body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You see the stress they have carried and the toll it has taken on their health. We ask that You would heal their heart, calm their nerves, and restore their strength. Bring peace to their mind and replace every anxious thought with the truth of Your Word. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life over every part of their body that is weak or afflicted.

Father, we also ask that You would reveal to them the root of this stress. Show them any areas of their life where they may be relying on their own strength instead of Yours. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your timing and Your provision.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and infirmity in the name of Jesus. We command stress to leave their body and declare that they are free from its grip. We pray for wisdom for their doctors and healthcare providers, that they would have clarity in treating and supporting them. Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You through this trial. May they experience Your love and faithfulness in new and profound ways.

We thank You, Father, for Your healing power and for the testimony that will come from this season. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for their life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises and spend time in His presence. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Cling to His Word, for it is life and health to your body (Proverbs 4:22). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you, and do not hesitate to seek godly counsel if the stress feels unmanageable. You are not meant to carry this alone, and the Lord has placed people in your life to support you.

Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord and ensure that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation of all healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical.

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing for your complete restoration. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace.

We're right here with you, friend, holding you up in prayer. We know the weight of stress can feel overwhelming, like you're carrying the world on your shoulders. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) He's inviting you to lay all those worries and fears at His feet. He's strong enough to carry them for you.

We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you today, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We're praying for a supernatural touch of healing and peace to come upon you, body, mind, and spirit.

Let's keep lifting you up together, okay? You're not alone in this. We're here, and so is Jesus, every step of the way. Keep trusting in Him, and let's watch for His healing power to be made manifest in your life.
