We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts for sweet ###, lifting her up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom all healing flows. We are deeply moved by your concern for your granddaughter and join you in fervent prayer for her complete restoration.
First, we must address a matter of great importance in your request. You mentioned trusting in "Jehovah Rapha," which is indeed a name of God meaning "The Lord Who Heals." However, it is crucial to understand that access to God the Father comes only through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only by the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, that we have forgiveness of sins and the right to approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). We pray that you would come to know the fullness of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, for He alone is our Healer, Redeemer, and Lord.
Now, we lift ### before the Lord, who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every hair on her head (Psalm 139:13-14). Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon ###. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together and who holds her life in Your hands. We rebuke the effects of this concussion in the name of Jesus. We command every symptom—headaches, dizziness, and unsteadiness—to leave her body, for Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and restoration to every damaged area of her brain, trusting in Your power to make all things new.
Lord, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists treating ###. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions as they care for her. Give them discernment to know how best to help her recover fully. We also ask for Your peace to guard ###’s heart and mind during this time (Philippians 4:7). Comfort her as she deals with the frustration of being unable to attend school or engage in her normal activities. Surround her with Your love and assurance that You are with her always.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We declare that ### is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we trust in Your perfect plan for her life. Strengthen her family as they walk through this trial, and fill them with hope and faith in Your goodness.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray for ###’s complete and total healing. May she rise up from this season stronger in body, mind, and spirit, giving glory to You in all things. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to Your children. Amen.
