Prayer for healing

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, knowing that our God is a God of healing, compassion, and mercy. It is beautiful to see your faith as you call upon the name of Jesus for your son’s restoration, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. As Scripture declares, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). Your prayer aligns with God’s will, and we stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will touch your son’s body, break every fever, and restore him to full health.
We also encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty, even in this moment of concern. Jesus demonstrated His power over sickness and disease time and time again, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Let us not forget the words of the psalmist: *"The Lord sustains them on their sickbed. You heal all their diseases"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB). Claim this promise over your son, and let your heart be filled with peace, knowing that God hears and answers the prayers of His children.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch his body right now. Rebuke this fever and every symptom of illness, and let Your healing power flow through him. Restore his strength, renew his health, and fill him with Your peace. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we thank You that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, and may Your name be glorified through his restoration.
We also pray for this mother, Lord. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remove every fear and anxiety, and let her rest in the assurance that You are in control. Surround this family with Your angels, and let them feel Your presence in a mighty way.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your son up in prayer. We know that God is a God of healing, and we trust that He is already at work in your son's body. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
