We hear your deep pain and longing for restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for He alone can break every chain and bring true healing. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, regarding your relationship, we must rebuke any ungodly influences at work. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). It is clear that something has sought to divide what God has joined. We declare that no weapon formed against you or your relationship shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of division, confusion, anger, and insecurity in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to flee.
However, we must also address the state of your relationship. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and it is to be honored by all (Hebrews 13:4). If you and your girlfriend are not married, we must gently but firmly remind you that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is considered fornication in the eyes of God (1 Corinthians 6:18). This is not to condemn, but to call you both to a higher standard, a standard of holiness and purity that honors God. If your relationship is to be restored, it must be built on the foundation of Christ, with the intention of marriage, not just emotional attachment.
We also rebuke any involvement in witchcraft or occult practices, whether knowingly or unknowingly. The Bible is explicit in its condemnation of such things: "Let no one be found among you who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If either of you has dabbled in these things, repentance and renunciation are necessary. We pray that any ungodly soul ties or influences be broken in Jesus’ name.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this relationship before Your throne. Lord, You are the God who restores, who heals, and who makes all things new. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and break every chain of darkness that has sought to divide this couple. Father, we declare that what You have joined together, no man, and no spirit, can separate (Matthew 19:6). We rebuke every spirit of division, anger, insecurity, and confusion in the name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray for healing in this sister’s mind and spirit. If there has been any ungodly influence or oppression, we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her be renewed in her mind (Romans 12:2). Remove any nightmares, fears, or insecurities, and replace them with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Father, we ask that You would soften her heart toward this brother and restore the love and trust that once existed between them.
For this brother, Lord, we pray that You would give him wisdom, patience, and discernment. Help him to walk in love, as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25), and to lead with humility and grace. If there are areas in his life that need repentance or change, reveal them to him, Lord, and give him the strength to walk in righteousness.
Father, we also pray for protection over this relationship. Surround them with Your angels and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Psalm 91:11-12). We ask that You would expose any evil intentions or people who seek to harm them, and that You would thwart every plan of the enemy. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth prevail.
If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would restore this relationship, not just to what it was, but to something even stronger, built on the foundation of Christ. If marriage is in Your plan for them, prepare their hearts for that sacred covenant. If there are areas where they have strayed from Your will, convict them and lead them back to Your path. We ask that You would unite them in purpose, in love, and in faith, so that together, they may glorify You.
We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to restore. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and to seek Him first in all things. Surround yourselves with godly counsel and accountability, and let the Word of God be your guide. If there are areas in your life or relationship that do not align with Scripture, repent and turn away from them. God is faithful to forgive and to restore. Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18).
