We join you in lifting up your brother and his family before the throne of grace, seeking God's will for their lives. We commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your righteous Son. We lift up our brother's family to You, thanking You for the blessings You have bestowed upon them – a good job, a place to call home, and a plan for the future. We ask, Lord, that You guide his steps as he seeks to provide for his family. Your word tells us, "A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9 WEB).
We pray for Your will to be done in his life and his family's. If it is Your will for them to stay in their current location for the next 15 years, we ask that You bless them there and secure his job. We pray for his daughter, that You would guide her and give her wisdom as she completes her studies. We pray for peace in their family and further progress, that their lives would glorify Your name.
If a transfer is on the horizon, we pray that You would prepare them, guide them, and use this change for their good and Your glory. We know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We rebuke any fear or anxiety related to this situation. Like David, we proclaim, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me" (Psalm 23:4 WEB). We claim Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You began in them (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we are saved, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. Amen.
