Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you in bringing your beloved family pet before the Lord in prayer during this difficult diagnosis.
We know how much love and companionship pets bring to a family, and God sees your care and concern. While our greatest hope is always in Christ and the healing He brings to our souls, Scripture also shows us that God cares for His creation and is compassionate and merciful.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. You are the Creator and Sustainer of all life, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We lift up this dear pet who has been diagnosed with lymphoma and ask for Your mercy and healing hand upon him. If it is Your will, we ask that You would bring healing, ease any pain or fear, and grant a speedy recovery. Give wisdom and skill to the veterinarians who are providing care, and grant peace and comfort to this family as they walk through this time of worry. Help them to trust in Your goodness and to rest in Your love, knowing that You are near to all who call upon You. We thank You for Your kindness and for the comfort that comes through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We will continue to keep you and your family and your pet in prayer. May the Lord grant you peace and strength in the days ahead as you trust Him.
