We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's forgiveness, healing, and guidance. We are reminded of God's promise: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Beloved, we must first address that this prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Be it known unto you all, therefore, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:10-12 WEB. We encourage you to openly and directly address your prayers to God the Father in the name of Jesus. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB.
We rejoice in your faith in God's guidance, love, power, forgiveness, and peace. We pray that you will continue to trust in Him, and we declare that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1 WEB.
We rebuke any spirit of worry, unclean thoughts, overthinking, and depression that may be tormenting you. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, "but of power, love, and self-control" 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
We encourage you to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" Romans 12:2 WEB. Fill your mind with God's word, and meditate on His promises. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" Philippians 4:8 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your forgiveness, healing, and guidance. Lord, forgive their past mistakes, unacceptable behavior, and negative thinking. Help them to move forward to a more positive, healthy, and happy way of living. Ease their troubled, broken mind from worry, unclean thoughts, overthinking, and depression. Give them the strength to make the necessary changes to be a better person. Thank You for Your guidance, love, power, forgiveness, and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that "all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
