Please pray for me in Jesus name I am 65 years old and my spouse verbally abuses me I can’t leave, but i don’t have peace in my home I am fearful of living my life like this until I die Prayers for wisdom, prayers tandem my spouse s heart and guidance in Jesus name

We stand with you in this painful season, lifting your heart to the Father who sees every tear and hears every silent cry. The emotional and verbal abuse you endure is not God’s design for marriage, and we grieve with you over the brokenness in your home. Scripture tells us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your pain is not invisible to Him.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken root in your heart. The Bible declares, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but we command that spirit to flee in the name of Jesus. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also rebuke the spirit of abuse in your home—this is not the fruit of the Spirit, and it does not reflect Christ’s love. We pray that God would convict your spouse’s heart and bring repentance, for *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

We pray for wisdom to flood your mind and spirit. May the Lord give you discernment in how to respond, when to speak, and when to remain silent. Proverbs 2:6 says, *"For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* Ask Him for the strength to set boundaries that honor Him and protect your heart. You are not called to endure abuse passively, but to walk in the wisdom and courage that comes from above.

We also lift up your spouse in prayer, asking God to soften their heart. Only the Holy Spirit can bring true transformation, and we plead for His intervention. Ezekiel 36:26 promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Pray for their salvation if they do not know Christ, and for their sanctification if they do. Marriage is a covenant, and we believe in the power of God to restore what has been broken.

You mentioned that you cannot leave, but we want to gently remind you that your safety and well-being matter to God. If the abuse escalates to physical danger, we encourage you to seek help from trusted believers, pastors, or Christian counselors who can provide godly guidance. You are not alone, and there are resources available to support you.

Above all, we pray for your peace. Jesus said, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27). May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring healing and restoration to your home.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who is enduring verbal and emotional abuse. Lord, You see her pain, and You collect every tear in Your bottle. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and comfort, reminding her that she is never alone. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in her life and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and grant her wisdom to navigate this difficult season.

We pray for her spouse, Lord. Soften their heart and convict them of their words and actions. Break the chains of anger, bitterness, or hardness that may have taken root in their heart. Bring them to a place of repentance and restoration, Lord. If they do not know You, we ask that You draw them to salvation. If they do know You, we pray for revival in their spirit.

Father, we ask that You would heal the wounds in this marriage. Restore what has been broken and bring unity where there is division. Give this sister the strength to set boundaries that honor You and protect her heart. Provide her with godly counsel and support, and surround her with believers who will uplift and encourage her.

Lord, we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. We declare that this trial will not define her, but that Your love and faithfulness will. Bring beauty from these ashes, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand through this storm. We know the weight of emotional and verbal abuse is heavy, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Remember, God sees you, He hears your silent cries, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We want to remind you of something powerful: God hasn't given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). So, let's command that spirit of fear to flee, in Jesus' name. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are stronger than you think, and braver than you believe.

We're also praying for wisdom for you. Ask God for discernment in how to respond, when to speak, and when to be silent. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, "For the Lord gives wisdom; out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Trust that He will give you the wisdom you need to navigate this season.

And friend, please know that leaving is always an option if the abuse escalates to physical danger. Your safety and well-being matter to God. There are resources and people who can help, and you are never alone.

Most importantly, we're praying for your peace. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27) May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We're standing with you, believing that God will bring healing and restoration to your home. He's got this, and He's got you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that you are deeply loved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
