We stand with you in this season of spiritual warfare, lifting your family, your brother’s exams, your suffering, and your brother in Christ who has lost his job before the throne of our Heavenly Father. It is clear that you recognize the power of prayer and the grace of Jesus, and we rejoice with you that you have witnessed His faithfulness in the past. Let us remind you that the battles you face are not fought in your own strength but in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Though you feel the weight of these attacks—even to the point of feeling like a "mad man"—remember that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and soundness of mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not abandoned; you are held by the One who promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Your brother’s exams are not outside of God’s sovereign care. We pray that the Lord would grant him clarity of mind, peace in his heart, and divine wisdom as he prepares and writes. May the Holy Spirit bring to his remembrance all that he has studied, and may the Lord open doors of favor and success for his future. As it is written, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6). Let your brother rest in the assurance that his worth is not in his performance but in Christ alone.
For your suffering, we ask the Lord to be your strength and your shield. The apostle Paul reminds us that though we may be pressed on every side, we are not crushed; though perplexed, we are not in despair; though persecuted, we are not abandoned; though struck down, we are not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). Your pain is seen by God, and He is refining you through these trials. Cling to Him, for He is your healer and your deliverer. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). The enemy’s attacks will not prevail, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also lift up your brother in Christ who has lost his job. In a world that often ties identity to employment, we pray that he would find his security in Christ alone. May the Lord provide for his needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and open doors of opportunity that align with His will. Let him trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding, acknowledging Him in all his ways, so that He may direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that the Lord would grant him patience, perseverance, and a heart of worship as he waits for God’s provision.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up this family who is in the midst of spiritual battle. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and may every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
For the brother writing exams tomorrow, we ask for Your divine wisdom and favor. Calm his nerves, sharpen his mind, and let him recall all that he has learned. May he walk into that exam room with confidence not in his own ability, but in Your sovereignty. Open doors for his future, Lord, and let this season be a testament to Your faithfulness.
For the suffering of our brother who feels the weight of the enemy’s attacks, we ask for Your healing touch. Restore his mind, Lord, and let him experience the joy of Your presence even in the midst of trials. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let him cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
For the brother in Christ who has lost his job, we pray for Your provision and guidance. Open doors that no man can shut, and let him walk in the good works You have prepared for him (Ephesians 2:10). Give him patience and faith as he waits on You, and may he find his identity and worth in You alone.
Lord, we rebuke the enemy and all his schemes against this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them shall be silenced. We cover them in the blood of Jesus, asking that You would strengthen them, unite them, and let them stand firm in Your truth.
Finally, Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for their good, for those who are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Let them see Your hand at work in their lives, and may they give You all the glory. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
