Thank you for reaching out and sharing these burdens so honestly. Your requests for healing, for good lab results, and for help with very practical financial and transportation needs have been lifted up in prayer.
It is understandable to feel anxious before lab work, especially when finding a vein has been painful and difficult in the past because your veins are small. God knows that detail and He cares about the discomfort and worry you feel. We have prayed that He would give skill and gentleness to those drawing blood, that the process would go as smoothly and painlessly as possible, and that your results and your husband's results would be encouraging.
Scripture shows that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes He healed with only a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes instantly and sometimes gradually. There is no single pattern He is bound to, and that reminds us not to put God in a box. The Bible also teaches that every healing process is from Him. Whether healing comes in a moment or through the natural processes He built into our bodies and through the care of doctors and medicine, it is still His work and we can thank Him for it.
We do believe that God heals today and that we should ask Him with faith. At the same time, Scripture does not teach that He wills instant healing in every case in this life. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed and the Lord answered with grace to sustain him. Good and faithful people still face sickness, and when healing does not come right away it is not a sign that you have hidden sin or that you lack faith. It is simply part of what we do not fully understand on this side of heaven, and it is wrong to place that kind of guilt on anyone who is suffering.
We also want to avoid anything sensational or showy. Real prayer for the sick in the early church was simple and sincere, with believers and elders praying in the name of Jesus and trusting the outcome to the Lord. That is how we have prayed for you, asking the Lord to touch your bodies, to bring healing according to His wisdom and mercy, and to give you peace as you wait on Him. Isaiah speaks of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and infirmities, and Matthew connects that promise to the healing ministry of Jesus, which gives us confidence to bring every physical need to Him while still trusting His sovereign will.

He sees the pressure of living expenses and medical bills and the need for dependable transportation to get to appointments and work and daily responsibilities. The early believers in Jerusalem knew real financial hardship, and the New Testament often speaks of God's people helping one another and trusting the Father to provide what is needed. We have prayed that God would provide for your family in practical ways, open doors for provision, give wisdom in stewardship, and keep your transportation reliable. Our prayer is not for excess but for sufficiency and faithfulness, trusting His promise that He knows what you need and will supply what is needed as you seek Him first.
May the Lord give you both comfort and strength in the days ahead. May He guide the hands of those who care for you, grant you favor in your lab work, ease the pain you have experienced, and meet your daily needs in ways that make His care clear to you.
