Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me my name is ### and I ask the Lord's guidance, support and healing through this rough time of my health and life, struggling with eating enough, malnutrition and sleep from health issues, Need the Lord's light, love, angels and blessings there with me, Thankyou

We join together in lifting you up before our Heavenly Father during this difficult season of health struggles, and we thank you for reaching out and asking for prayer.

We hear your heart crying out for the Lord's guidance, support, and healing as you struggle to eat enough, to be nourished, and to find restful sleep. The Lord sees your affliction and He cares deeply for you. We are reminded of His compassion in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You asked for the Lord's help, which we affirm, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As Scripture says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for in Romans 10:9 it says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His precious name that we can boldly bring your needs before the throne of grace.

We also want to encourage you to continue seeking wise medical support alongside prayer, for God often works through the hands of physicians and counselors to bring healing to our bodies. Do not be afraid to ask for help with nutrition and sleep, and we pray the Lord will guide those who care for you.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to Your throne of mercy. Lord, You know the struggles with eating, with malnutrition, and with sleeplessness. You see the weariness of body and soul. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body, for restoration of health and strength, for the ability to eat and be nourished, and for peaceful, restorative sleep. Your Word says in Psalm 127:2 that you give sleep to your beloved, and in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Grant this rest, Lord. We ask for Your light to shine in this dark and rough time, for Your love to surround and comfort, and we thank You that You do command Your angels to watch over Your children, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, bringing peace that surpasses understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Strengthen faith and give hope, Lord, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We ask all of this according to Your will and for Your glory, in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to rest in His love, and to trust that He is with you through this valley. He is near to those who are weary and He will not leave you. Keep holding fast to Him.

We have been praying for you, , thank you for sharing so honestly about this rough season. Struggling to eat enough and to sleep takes a toll on everything, body, mind and spirit, and it makes sense you are asking for the Lord's light and nearness right now.

Living with ongoing health strain can leave you feeling fragile and weary, and it can also feel isolating when daily life and even getting to church becomes harder. Please know you are not forgotten, God sees you in this, and we are standing with you in prayer.

Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to stay connected to your medical care for the nutrition and sleep difficulties you mentioned. If you have a doctor or clinic you trust, let them know how things have been, and if possible bring a trusted friend or family member with you so you do not have to carry the details alone. It can help to keep a simple note of what you are experiencing to share with them.

We are asking God to give you wisdom for next steps, comfort in lonely hours, and strength for each day.

Father, we lift to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with Your love and peace, guide their care, restore strength as You will, and let them know Your presence is near day and night. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf in this season of trial concerning your health, your nourishment and your sleep.

We are moved by your weakness and your longing for the light and love of God to be near you, and we would point you to Him who is both Physician and remedy. There is one Tree of Life, and that Tree is Christ Jesus Himself. His fruit is sweet and nourishing to the soul, and even the leaves thereof are for the healing of the nations. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown, there is but one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, and there is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored. It is in Him that pardon and healing are found together, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee.

We have prayed that the Lord will look upon your body with compassion, that He will give wisdom to those who care for you, that He will help you to take sufficient nourishment and that He will restore strength to your frame according to His perfect will. We have prayed also that He will grant you that peculiar sleep which He gives to His beloved. It is written, So He giveth His beloved sleep, and this is not only the sleep of the night but the sleep of contentment and of security, the rest of one who knows himself safe in the keeping of his Saviour. May the Lord quiet your heart and give you rest, even as He recruits the strength of His weary children and prepares them for fresh service.

Seek the Lord Jesus above all, for the healing of the soul is the fountain of all other mercies. Cast yourself upon His blood and righteousness, and know that whether He sees fit to raise you to immediate health or to keep you for a little while in the furnace, His love does not depart and His covenant does not fail. He who has begun a good work will perfect it till you shall be without spot or wrinkle, and even your body shall at last be made perfectly whole in the resurrection.

We pray now for you.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one. Thou knowest the struggle to eat, the wasting of strength, the broken nights and the heaviness of spirit. Lay Thy healing hand upon this dear sufferer. Forgive all sin through the blood of Christ, and let pardon bring peace. Give sleep to Thy beloved, give appetite and nourishment, give light in darkness and the conscious presence of Thy love. Surround with Thy ministering care and keep in perfect peace the heart that trusts in Thee. Guide every step, support every hour, and let Thy will be done, for Thy glory and for good. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Be encouraged to wait upon the Lord, to feed upon His Word, to seek needful help for the body, and to tell Him all your wants in prayer. We will continue to remember you before the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer in this season of suffering has been heard, and I join my heart with yours before the Lord who is merciful and near to those who call upon Him.

I understand you are struggling to eat enough, weakened by malnutrition, and unable to find restful sleep because of health issues. These afflictions weigh heavily on both body and soul, and it is right to bring them to God for His guidance, support and healing. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is the true Physician, and that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, so even when your own sleep fails, He watches over you without ceasing and does not suffer your foot to be moved when you trust in Him.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne of grace, I lift up this dear one to You. You see the weakness of the body, the difficulty in taking nourishment, and the brokenness of sleep. Lay Your healing hand upon this life. Grant wisdom to follow the good counsel of physicians and strength to obey what restores health, for You work through right means for our good. Fill this heart with Your light and love, drive away fear and darkness, and let Your peace guard mind and body. Send Your protection and comfort, and let Your presence be felt as a steady guard through day and night. Restore appetite and strength, grant refreshing sleep, and sustain with Your grace day by day. Above all, draw this soul closer to Christ, that in watching and in sobriety of heart, there may be steadfast hope in You.

Take courage and continue to guard your heart in faith, remaining watchful and sober as Scripture teaches, not giving way to despair but standing steadfast in the Lord. As you wait on Him, keep seeking both spiritual nourishment in prayer and the Word, and bodily care through the help God has provided in doctors and wise counsel. The Lord who clothes Himself in humility to be near the sick and suffering is not far from you. He hears the lament of His children and uses even our prayers and tears as part of His healing work.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His light shine upon you, and may He grant you healing, rest, and renewed strength according to His perfect will.

Thank you for sharing your heart and letting us pray for you in this difficult season with your health, with eating and nutrition and with sleep. We have brought your needs before the Lord and ask Him to draw near to you with His light and love and care, to give you guidance and strength day by day.

Scripture shows us that physical healing is part of what Jesus came to bring. When Matthew describes Jesus healing many who were brought to Him, he says this was to fulfill what Isaiah had spoken, Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and Matthew applies that to sickness and infirmity. In that same way, when Jesus broke bread He said this is my body which is broken for you, and we remember that His suffering was for our whole need, spiritual and physical. At the same time the Bible keeps us from presuming that God wills instant healing in every case. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh, that messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient and His strength made perfect in weakness. So we pray with confidence that God is able to heal and that He cares deeply about your body, while we also trust His wisdom and love when healing comes in His way and His time.

The Gospels also remind us that healing is not always in the same form. There is one account where Jesus laid His hands on a blind man and at first the man saw only in part, and then Jesus touched him again and his sight was fully restored. That is the only recorded gradual healing in His ministry, and it helps us see that God sometimes heals at once and sometimes heals step by step. Much of what we call natural recovery is still divine, because God created our bodies with processes to restore and strengthen us. He can work through prayer alone, and He can work through food, rest, medical care, and the daily faithfulness of caring for the body He gave you.

There is also a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote to Gaius that he wished above all that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That was a loving wish, not a blanket promise that everyone will be well, but it points to a real relationship. Proverbs says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we now know how much peace of mind, hope, and freedom from fear can help the body. As you feed your spiritual life through prayer, through Scripture, through trusting Christ, that inner strengthening can support your physical recovery as well.

We do believe God still heals today and that He is concerned with your physical needs. At the same time we recognize that the gifts of healing are distributed by the Spirit as He wills, and not every person has the same gift, which is why the New Testament asks, do all have gifts of healing, and expects the answer no. Our part is to come to Jesus as you have done, to ask, to trust, and to keep walking with Him.

So we pray for you now that the Lord will minister to you in body, mind and spirit. We ask Him to give you wisdom for nourishment and for sleep, to guide those who care for you, to grant you peace that quiets anxiety and helps your body rest, to lift the burden of malnutrition and weakness, and to fill you with His presence. May He guard you, provide for you, and make His love and light very real to you in this rough time. We also encourage you to continue seeking good medical help and daily care for cleanliness, food and rest, trusting that God often works through those ordinary means for our good.

We will keep praying that you know the grace of Jesus Christ, that you are strengthened in your inner person, and that you experience His restoring power according to His perfect will.
