We lift up this brother whose name begins with "H" before the Lord, asking for His divine provision and favor as he seeks employment in Tucson. The Word of God reminds us in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* We encourage this brother to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing, for His plans are perfect, and He provides for those who diligently seek Him.
It is also important to note that while we pray for this need, we must always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard. If this brother has not yet placed his full faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge him to do so, for salvation and a right relationship with God come only through Christ (Acts 4:12). Without faith in Jesus, our prayers lack the power and authority that come from being in Him.
We also gently remind this brother that while a few days of job searching may feel discouraging, the Lord often uses seasons of waiting to strengthen our faith and dependence on Him. Let him not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, he will reap if he doesn’t give up (Galatians 6:9). We pray that the Lord will open the right doors in Tucson, doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and that this brother will walk in obedience and trust, knowing that God is his Provider.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who is seeking employment. Lord, You know his needs, his skills, and the desires of his heart. We ask that You would go before him and prepare the way, granting him favor with employers and wisdom in his applications and interviews. Provide for him according to Your riches in glory, and let this season of searching draw him closer to You. If there is any area of his life where he is not fully surrendered to You, convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him into repentance and faith. May he seek first Your Kingdom and trust in Your perfect timing. We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or fear and declare that You, Lord, are his strength and shield. Open the right door of employment for him, and let it be a blessing not only to him but also a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
