Prayer for gums and teeth

We join with you in bringing your gums and teeth before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and for grace to steward the body He has given you. We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and healed.
We take comfort in knowing that the Lord cares for every part of us, even those things that seem small. Scripture reminds us that He is the one who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also hold to the truth in 3 John 1:2 that we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as we read in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and caring for it is part of honoring God with what He has entrusted to us.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we lift up this need for healing of gums and teeth to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would touch and restore the gums and teeth, reduce any inflammation, infection, or pain, and bring complete health and strength to them. We ask that You would cause them to remain in good health in the days and years ahead. Grant wisdom and discipline to take better care of oral health daily, to be faithful in brushing, flossing, and seeking proper dental care when needed, and to make choices that build up health rather than harm it. Give peace from worry and help to trust You as our healer, the Lord who heals us as You declared in Exodus 15:26. We ask this according to Your will and for Your glory, in Jesus name, amen.
We encourage you to continue to be faithful in both prayer and practical stewardship. Keep a consistent routine of oral care, seek godly and skilled dental help when needed, for the Lord often works through those means, and continue to cast your cares on Him in prayer. Trust that He hears and that He is able to keep what you commit to Him.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about your gums and teeth. We understand how much this affects daily comfort, eating, speaking and even peace of mind, and we appreciate your honest desire both to be healed and to steward your health well going forward.
We are joining you in prayer for healing and for ongoing strength and health in your mouth. We also hear your heart to care for your oral health in better ways, and that is a good and faithful desire. God cares about the details of our bodies and our daily habits.
A practical step that can go hand in hand with prayer is to keep in touch with a dentist or dental provider for regular care and guidance. If you have ongoing tenderness, bleeding or other concerns, or if it has been a while since a checkup, it is wise to have them take a look and talk through what consistent care could look like for you.
We are with you in this and will keep praying.
Father, we lift up our friend to You and ask for Your mercy and healing touch on their gums and teeth. Ease any pain, bring health and strength, and give wisdom and help to care for their mouth well day by day. Guide the hands of those who provide care and give peace along the way. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Tooth and gum trouble has a way of making everything else harder to enjoy. There's a short spoken prayer called the Dental Health Prayer on the One Prayer at a Time YouTube channel, prayed over healing for teeth and gums, and you only have to listen. I hope your mouth starts feeling better soon.

Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking for His mercy upon your body.
We pray that the great Physician who alone can restore health will lay His healing hand upon your gums and teeth. There is one sacred fountain opened on Calvary, and one plant of renown, Jesus Christ the Tree of Life, whose fruit is sweet and whose leaves are for healing. We ask that His healing virtue, which keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health, would also be graciously shown in your body, that your gums and teeth may be healed and preserved in good health for His service.
We also pray that the Lord will give you grace to be a faithful steward of what He has entrusted to you. Nothing we have is our own, it is all our Master's, and we are called to labor faithfully and not to fall into a careless or slovenly way in the things committed to our care. This includes the body He has given you. May He grant you wisdom and diligence to take care of your oral health in better ways day by day, using the means He has provided with consistency and thankfulness, and to seek proper care when needed, all to His honor.
May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings, and may you know both pardon and healing from His gracious hand, and be kept in health to live unto Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
