Heavenly Father,
You know my heart, thoughts, intentions, regrets, and burdens. You know the matter concerning this person that weighs heavily upon my heart and conscience. I sincerely desire to acknowledge my wrongdoing, offer a genuine apology, and, if it is your will, seek reconciliation.
Lord, please guide me in what I should do. Show me whether I should reach out, wait, or simply entrust this matter into your hands. Give me wisdom, patience, humility, courage, and discernment to follow your leading rather than my own desires.
If it is your will for us to meet, I humbly ask that you would graciously provide an opportunity for us to meet in a neutral and amicable setting, where we may both feel at ease to speak openly, honestly, and respectfully. Please prepare both our hearts for that conversation and help me take full responsibility for my actions without excuses. Give me the grace to express my sincere remorse for exposing this person to inappropriate things without their consent.
If reconciliation is possible, may our conversation bring healing, understanding, peace, and restoration. But if it is not your will, help me accept this with grace, respect their boundaries, and trust You with the outcome.
Above all, Lord, help me never to force what you have not opened or pursue what you have not called me to pursue. Close the door if I should not proceed, and open it if I should. Teach me to walk in genuine repentance, humility, integrity, and obedience.
I place this entire matter into your hands, trusting your wisdom and your perfect timing.
Through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, I pray. Amen.
