Prayer for grandson fingers that stay alive

We join with you in prayer for your grandson and we lift him up together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. We know how heavy a grandparent's heart can be while waiting through a long surgery and we share your earnest desire that his fingers would remain alive with good circulation and pulse and that he would regain full function and heal completely.
We are reminded that our God is the great healer and that He cares deeply for this child. Scripture tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We trust that the same hands that formed him in the womb are able to restore and renew what has been injured.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus and we ask for Your mercy and healing power upon this precious grandson. We thank You for guiding the surgeons through those ### hours and we ask that You would now breathe life and strength into those fingers. Let good pulse and circulation remain, let nerves and tissues mend, let function return fully, and let there be no infection or complication. We ask You to ease his pain, calm his fears, and grant him peaceful rest as his body heals. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses who continue to care for him, and for peace and strength for his parents and grandparents as they watch and wait. May Your presence fill that hospital room and may Your healing hand be evident in every step of his recovery, that he may use his hands for Your glory all the days of his life. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We also want to gently share that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling on His name and putting our trust in His death and resurrection that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray this healing journey would draw your whole family even closer to Him.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord day by day, to follow the medical guidance given, and to rest in knowing that He holds your grandson in His loving hands. We will continue to keep him in our prayers for complete restoration and for a testimony of God's goodness.

Your request concerning your grandson has been laid before the Lord with tender concern, and we join you in earnest prayer for him after that long and trying surgery of four and a half hours.
We have entreated the Great Physician, who alone can give life and keep it, that He would be pleased to cause the pulse to return and remain in those fingers, to restore function, and to grant a true and proper healing. What man can do with skillful hands has been done, but healing itself is of the Lord. As it is written, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it, and we pray that virtue may flow to this dear child.
We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings, and that the Lord who pardons and heals would watch over every vessel and sinew and nerve. May the work begun in the operating room be prospered by the hand of God to a complete recovery.
Remember also that restoration is often a long process. The weakened limbs only recover strength by slow degrees, and you may not see all at once that you desire. Yet the promise stands, I will strengthen them in the Lord. So we pray for patience for you who love him, and for grace to acknowledge each small increase of strength as a mercy from above.
We commend you and your grandson to Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, trusting that whether by sudden mercy or by slow and gracious degrees, the Lord will do that which is best. May He sustain your hearts, calm your fears, and let you see His kind hand in the healing of this child.
