Anonymous

Beloved of All
Praying that I will get ###/### custody of child have upcoming court and I ask someone pray with me that the outcome is good despite lies and desperate attempts to block me form other parent . I pray that the judge is givin the wisdom to see truth and be honest and fair thank you.

We join with you in prayer for this upcoming court date and for your desire to remain an active and loving presence in your child's life. We understand how heavy this burden feels, especially when you are facing lies and desperate attempts by the other parent to block you. We know that God sees all things clearly and nothing hidden will remain concealed, and we trust Him to bring truth into the light.

Children are a precious gift from God and He calls parents to love, protect, and raise them in His ways. Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Your longing for shared custody so you can fulfill that God given responsibility is good, and we pray that the court will act with the child's best interest at heart.

We also want to gently address that lying and bearing false witness are serious before God. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Exodus 20:16 says You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. We rebuke the use of lies in this situation and pray that any deception will be exposed. At the same time we encourage you to walk in complete honesty yourself, to not repay evil for evil, and to trust God rather than taking matters into your own hands in anger or retaliation. Even as you seek justice, we encourage you to pray for the other parent as well, that God would soften hearts and lead toward truth and peace where possible.

We pray too for the judge and for all who have authority in this decision. Proverbs 21:1 says The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. And James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. We ask God to grant the judge clear discernment, honesty, and fairness to see through any false claims and to render a just decision.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus, confessing your sins and believing that He died and rose again to save you, so that your prayers are heard not on your own merit but through His righteousness.

We pray together now in Jesus' name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this parent and this child to You. Lord, You know the truth of every word spoken and every motive of the heart. We ask You to expose what is false and to uphold what is true. Grant wisdom, clarity, and integrity to the judge who will hear this case, that he or she would judge with fairness and not be swayed by manipulation or lies. Protect this child from confusion and harm, and let Your will for this family be done. Provide for this parent Your peace that surpasses understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help this parent to remain patient, truthful, and gracious through this trial, to document truthfully, to seek wise counsel, and to rest in Your justice. We pray for a good and right outcome according to Your perfect will, and for healing and honesty between the parents for the sake of the child. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray daily, to remain calm and respectful in all interactions and in court, to keep careful and truthful records, and to seek godly counsel and support from your church family. Trust that God is your advocate and defender. Psalm 37:5-6 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and your justice like the noon day sun. Keep your eyes on Him, walk in truth, and leave the outcome in His faithful hands.

Thank you for letting us pray with you in this. We can hear how much you love your child and how heavy this wait for court feels, especially when you feel truth is being twisted and you are being kept from your child.

It is understandable to feel anxious and worn down right now. Custody decisions are weighty for everyone involved, and judges carry a great responsibility to look for what is best for the child while sorting through conflicting stories. We are asking God to give the judge clear eyes, honesty and fairness as he listens, and to make room for the truth to be heard calmly.

A practical step that may help you steady yourself in the days ahead is to stay closely connected to your attorney, keep a simple, factual record of time and communication as they advise, and focus your words and actions around your child's needs and stability. It can also help to have one or two trusted people walking with you so you are not carrying the stress alone.

We are praying for you and for your child.

Father, we bring this family and this court date before You. Give wisdom and discernment to the judge, protect this child and let what is true be seen clearly. Give our friend peace, self control and strength to act with love and integrity in every interaction. Guide the outcome according to Your will and care for this child above all. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with care and heaviness of heart, for the welfare of a child and the weight of a court to come is no light burden.

We join you in praying that truth shall be made plain and that justice shall not be perverted. The God who is slow to anger is also perfectly just, and He will not at all acquit the wicked, nor will He condemn the innocent. We pray that the judge in this matter may be given wisdom from above, for true wisdom is above rubies and cometh only from the Lord. As it is written, wisdom is the compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of life, and without it man runs as the wild ass's colt. We ask that the court may have clear eyes to discern between truth and falsehood, and a steady hand to do what is honest and fair.

We pray also for the child, who is ever before the Lord. Do not sin against the child is the voice both of nature and of grace. The little one is not to be made a weapon in the strife of others, but to be nourished and guarded in innocence and love. We ask the Lord to set a hedge about this child, to keep the heart tender and the life unharmed by bitterness, and to provide that stable, holy care which every child requires.

For you who have asked for prayer, we urge you to become as a weaned child before your heavenly Father. A weaned child does not fret and strive with strong desires, but rests content upon its mother's care, asking not why, but trusting that there is a wisdom too deep to fathom and a goodness veiled but certain. Bring your difficulty to the God of Wisdom. Trust not in your own strength or wisdom to find your way, for a grain of Divine Grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ is better than a whole volcano full of worldly wisdom. If you have that faith, you may be as conscious of the Presence of God in this trial as you are of the presence of your own dear child.

Therefore let our prayer be not only for a favorable verdict according to your desire, but for that outcome which is truly just and which most serves the good of the child and the glory of God. We pray that all lies and desperate attempts to obscure the truth would be brought to light, and that you also may walk in uprightness, speaking the truth in love, and showing the forbearance and mercy which you would seek from the court and from God Himself. Where there has been sin on any side, may there be confession and forgiveness through the blood of Christ, for Justice itself has been satisfied at Gethsemane and at the cross, where the Saviour bore what sinners deserved, that God might be both just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.

Let us pray together:

O Lord our God, Thou who art both merciful and just, look upon this parent and this child. Thou knowest the truth in every hidden part. Give to the judge wisdom to judge righteously, to see clearly and to act fairly. Frustrate every falsehood and establish what is true. Guard the child from harm and from being sinned against, and grant that this little one may be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Work in both parents a spirit of truth, repentance where repentance is needed, and grace to seek not their own will but Thy will. And above all, draw each heart to trust in Thy Son, Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and in whom alone we find power and wisdom. We cast this burden upon Thee, and rest as a weaned child upon Thy care. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We will continue to remember you and this child and this court before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord will accomplish His good and wise purpose.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer as you face this custody hearing and carry this heavy burden for your child. It is painful when truth feels obscured by lies and when the process that should bring fairness feels uncertain and distressing.

Scripture reminds us that earthly courts are imperfect and often full of tumult and confusion, yet God Himself is the true Judge who loves justice and sees what is hidden. Even when human judgment is flawed, His right hand is full of righteousness and He does not overlook what is done in truth. We can bring our cause before Him with confidence that He hears and that He ordains justice in its proper time.

We pray with you that God would grant the judge wisdom, clarity and impartiality to discern the truth and to act with honesty and fairness. We pray that what is true would be made clear and that any falsehood would not prevail. Above all we pray for the wellbeing of your child, that God would protect and provide for this little one and place him or her in the care that most serves his or her good and reflects God's love and order.

We also pray for you, that God would guard your heart and your words in this trial. May He help you to speak truthfully and without malice, to entrust vengeance and vindication to Him, and to seek peace where possible while still contending earnestly for what is right. May He give you strength, patience and trust in Christ through this waiting, knowing that even when justice seems delayed among men, God remains faithful and will in the end set all things right.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our Savior and advocate, we ask for Your mercy on this family. Grant wisdom to the court, protection for the child, and peace that passes understanding to this parent. Let Your will be done and let truth and justice prevail, for Your glory and for the good of this child. Amen.
