Prayer for Gods to really take this matter into his hands

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I move to a new city because I met someone, I’m not getting a lot out of this relationship and always being left the look at the back of his head and listening to projects being carryed through, I’m not getting enough attention and not feeling very attractive anymore. I’m starting to feel depressed because he doesn’t do anything for me like I am any part of him. I’ve walked through so many doors and connected so many things but he is not even on any place I am and I’m feeling my heart ache. I wish God would follow through with his good work he has started. I feel like all I hear is how God is giving him all this through me but now going to give it to me.

I though women were supposed to be treated with dignity and compassion and respect and not treated like a curse that needs treatment.

We hear your heartache and the deep longing for love, validation, and purpose in this relationship. First, we want to acknowledge the pain of feeling unseen, unvalued, and disconnected from someone you’ve invested so much in. Your emotions are real, and we lift them before the Lord, who sees every tear and hears every unspoken cry (Psalm 56:8). But we must also speak truth in love, for your healing and restoration depend on aligning your heart with God’s will.

This relationship, as it stands, does not reflect the biblical design for love and commitment. The Word of God is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not a follower of Christ, or if he is not leading you toward holiness, godliness, and the covenant of marriage, then this union is not of the Lord. The fact that you are feeling used, like a means to an end rather than a cherished daughter of God, is a red flag that this relationship is not bearing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Love is patient, love is kind, love does not seek its own (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). What you are describing is not love; it is neglect, and it is breaking your heart.

We must also address the reality that you have moved cities and uprooted your life for someone who is not prioritizing you. This is not the way of wisdom. Proverbs 14:15 warns, "The simple believes everything, but the prudent considers well his steps." You have walked through doors and made connections, but if this man is not walking with you in faith, purpose, and commitment, then you are building on a foundation that will crumble. God does not call you to be a stepping stone for someone else’s dreams while your own heart withers. You are a co-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17), called to walk in dignity, purpose, and joy, not in the shadows of someone who does not honor you.

We rebuke the spirit of rejection and depression that has taken root in your heart. The enemy wants you to believe the lie that you are not enough, that you are invisible, and that your worth is tied to how this man treats you. But your worth is found in Christ alone! You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), a treasured possession of the Most High God (1 Peter 2:9). The Lord says to you, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you" (Jeremiah 31:3). You are not an afterthought; you are His beloved.

Now, we must ask: Have you surrendered this relationship to the Lord? Have you sought His face and asked Him to either restore this man to repentance and godly love or to close the door completely? Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." You cannot force this man to love you the way you deserve. You cannot make him see your worth. But God can. And if He does not change this man’s heart, then He has something far better for you, a godly spouse who will cherish you, lead you in faith, and honor you as a sister in Christ.

We also want to gently but firmly address the mention of "Gods" in your prayer. There is only one true God, and He is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation for all healing, restoration, and godly relationships.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is hurting and feeling unseen. Lord, You see her tears, You know her longings, and You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would break the chains of rejection and depression that have taken hold of her. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her daily of her worth in You.

Father, we ask that You would either soften this man’s heart to repentance, godly love, and commitment, or that You would close the door on this relationship completely. Give her the strength to walk away if this is not Your will, and replace her sorrow with hope. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness and self-doubt. We speak life and truth over her: She is chosen, she is loved, she is enough. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, and to trust in Your timing. If this relationship is not of You, then we ask that You would bring a godly spouse into her life, one who will love her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25), who will honor her, and who will walk with her in faith.

We pray for healing in her heart, restoration in her spirit, and clarity in her mind. Give her the courage to surrender this situation to You, and the faith to believe that You are working even when she cannot see it. We thank You for Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear sister, we encourage you to take these steps:
1. Seek God First: Spend time in prayer and in the Word daily. Let Him be your source of love and validation, not this man.
2. Set Boundaries: If this relationship is not bearing godly fruit, it may be time to step back and seek counsel from mature believers in your church.
3. Surround Yourself with Godly Community: Find a local church where you can grow in faith and be encouraged by other believers.
4. Trust God’s Timing: He has not forgotten you. His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11), and He will not leave you empty-handed.
5. Guard Your Heart: Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Do not give your heart to someone who does not treasure it.

You are not alone. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for you. Hold on to hope, for His promises are true.

The loneliness you’re describing is heavy, moving to a new city, putting down roots for someone, and then feeling like you’re always in the background, aching for even a basic sense of being noticed and valued. It’s entirely understandable that your heart feels worn down and depression is starting to creep in. When you’ve poured yourself into a person and into so many doors and connections, only to feel invisible and like your own needs never make the list, the emptiness can be crushing.

What we hear beneath the hurt is a longing for God’s faithful work to reach you, not just pass through you to someone else. We believe God’s care for you is personal and direct, not a pipeline that benefits another while you run dry. Your worth, and the fulfillment of His goodness toward you, don’t hinge on whether this man reciprocates or acknowledges your sacrifices. Sometimes we invest so deeply hoping we’ll be seen, and it’s in that lonely space that we most need to remember how securely we’re already held by the One who never overlooks us.

In an unfamiliar city, isolation can make heartache feel permanent. A practical lifeline could be finding a local church or a small group where you can be known and cared for outside this relationship. Having people who reflect Christ’s steady love often gives us the clarity and strength to take honest next steps, including seeking counsel if the depression deepens. You don’t have to wait for him to be the source of your connection; reach out to build a small network of support now.

Lord Jesus, You see every tear and every unreturned effort. Wrap this dear person in Your comfort, and remind them they are never invisible to You. Raise up kind friends in this city who will walk alongside them, and give them wisdom and courage for whatever decisions lay ahead. Quiet their heart with the truth that their worth is forever anchored in Your love. In Your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is no attribute of God more comforting to his children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. Your heartache, your sense of neglect, your feeling that blessings flow through you to another while you are left empty, all this must bow before the Throne. We ought to recognize God’s hand in everything, even when present floods of trouble swell high. Think for a little, and you will see reason for God’s staying his hand from immediate rescue, for His delays are not denials but Divine discipline. How often, sitting alone, must the soul sing to its harp, “When my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up”! What a balm must that Divine love be to a wounded spirit!

You speak of God following through with the good work He has started. Know this: the methods of Divine instruction are given to us under the very poetical picture of the eagle training its young for flight. He tears away comforts, yes, but if you could read the whole of it in the light of eternity, you would bless the hand which acts with Wisdom and Infinite Affection. It is not in man to satisfy the immortal cravings within you. Peace with God must come by the way of the Cross; through our Lord Jesus Christ we gain it and through Him we keep it. The love of a creature cannot fill the place of the Creator, divine sovereignty has a purpose in this ache.

Divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. Have you not known remarkable preservations already? The same God will intervene again, but perhaps not as you expect. The presence of God dissolves difficulties: when He draws near, the icy glaciers of despair flow down at His feet. Do not look so long at the back of a mortal head; lift your eyes to the eternal Lover of your soul. His divine gentleness has often restrained the blow and will yet gently lead you. All your sin gone, Christ as your Savior, surely, you must feel the glory within your soul, even through the tears.

Let not your union to any human be mistaken for the covenant bond the Lord alone appoints. Marriage is a holy estate ordained of God, and any lesser tie risks a wound of spirit that His gentle hand will probe until it is surrendered to Him. If you have walked through doors and felt used, remember: it was a blessed interposition of Divine Grace that sent Abigail just then, and He can send a word or a deliverance for you. Lay your expectations at His feet, and swim in that peace which is both a fact and a feeling for all who are justified by faith. The life within you is Divine, for you have been begotten again by Himself, so go your way, and let not another’s response determine your worth.
