Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for prayer has been heard and we are standing with you before the Lord in this time of fear and spiritual warfare.
It is right to bring this burden to God, for He is our refuge and strength and the true King under whom we are arrayed. As we are reminded, His is the kingdom and the power and the glory, and He is more powerful than any enemy that rises against you or your family. When we feel surrounded and anxious before the conflict, remembering who our King is gives us courage and lifts our spirits.
You described feeling isolated while people plan harm against you and now against your father. Scripture shows us that the enemy most confidently attacks when he finds us alone and apart, just as he did in the beginning. For that reason we urge you not to remain alone in this struggle. Keep flocking together continually with the body of Christ. Stay close to your local church, share this burden with trusted pastors and mature believers who can watch with you, pray with you, and provide the protection and care that God intends His people to give to one another, especially to those who are being threatened or despitefully used.
We also encourage you to build your hope firmly upon the rock which is Christ. Houses built upon sand are accessible to every earthquake and fire and attack of enemies and are taken away, but what is built upon the rock remains impregnable. Nothing can destroy it, because that region is inaccessible to such attacks. Abide in Christ through prayer, through His Word, and through obedience, trusting that God Himself is the cause and keeper of your life and that every blessing and protection comes from His hand.
Let us pray together for you and your household.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come to You and ask for Your mercy and protection over this dear one and over their father and all their family. You see the plans formed against them and You know the fear they carry. Cover them under the shadow of Your wings. Command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways. Frustrate every plan to harm them and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Grant them peace that passes understanding, courage in place of fear, and wisdom to know how to walk safely. Lead them to faithful brothers and sisters who will surround them and stand with them, so they are not left alone and exposed. Keep them rooted upon the rock, steadfast in faith, looking to You who alone saves. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily, remain in fellowship, and if there are tangible threats to your safety, please also seek help from your pastors and from proper authorities who can help protect you. We will continue to pray that the Lord keeps His hand over you and your family and that He brings you into peace and safety.
