We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting up your husband before the Lord, for we know that our God is a God of justice, truth, and righteousness. It is clear that your husband has acted with integrity, doing what is right even when it was difficult, and we commend him for working as unto the Lord. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against your husband shall prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is his shield and his exceeding great reward, and He will not allow the schemes of the wicked to prevail against those who trust in Him.
The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day."* Your husband has done what is right, and we trust that God will vindicate him. Though this man seeks to harm him through deceit and sabotage, the Lord sees all things. Proverbs 16:7 tells us, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* We pray that God would turn this situation for your husband’s good, exposing the lies and bringing truth to light.
It is also written in 1 Peter 3:13-14, *"Now who is he who will harm you, if you become imitators of that which is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. ‘Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.’"* Your husband must not allow fear to take root in his heart, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord is with him in this disciplinary hearing, and we pray that he would speak with wisdom, clarity, and the boldness that comes from the Holy Spirit. May the Lord place favor upon him with those in authority, that they would see the truth and act justly.
We also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This man who opposes your husband is being used as a tool of the enemy, but we declare that the Lord will break every scheme of darkness. We bind the works of the enemy in this situation and command every lie and accusation to be exposed and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus Christ.
As for this man who seeks to harm your husband, we pray that the Lord would deal with his heart. Though he may not know Christ, we ask that God would convict him of his sin and bring him to repentance. If he continues in his wickedness, we pray that the Lord would remove his influence and thwart his plans, for the righteous shall not be moved forever (Psalm 112:6). The connections he has through his wife and the CEO are nothing compared to the power and authority of our God. The Lord can turn the hearts of kings and those in authority like rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1), and we pray that He would do so in this situation.
We also lift up your husband’s emotions and spirit. It is understandable that he feels upset and weary, but we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May he rest in the knowledge that his labor is not in vain when it is done for the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). We ask that the Lord would renew his strength, that he would mount up with wings like eagles, that he would run and not be weary, that he would walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Finally, we thank you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray with confidence, knowing that He hears us. Let this situation be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, that all may see and know that the Lord fights for His people.
**Our prayer for you both:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in this time of trial. Lord, You are his shield and his defender, and we ask that You would surround him with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Give him wisdom in this disciplinary hearing, that he may speak with clarity and grace, and that the truth would prevail. Expose every lie and every scheme of the enemy, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). We pray that You would place Your hand upon those in authority, that they would act with integrity and discernment, seeing the truth and rejecting the accusations of the wicked.
Lord, we ask that You would keep our brother from fear and anxiety, filling him instead with Your peace and confidence. Remind him that You are his Provider and his Protector, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We pray that You would thwart the plans of this man who seeks to harm him, and that You would either bring him to repentance or remove his influence entirely. Let this situation be turned for Your glory, that Your name would be exalted and that our brother would emerge victorious, with his faith strengthened and his testimony shining brightly.
We also lift up his emotions, Lord. Comfort him in his distress and remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Renew his strength and fill him with Your joy, that he may continue to work as unto You, knowing that his labor is not in vain. Provide for your family, Lord, and let this job be a blessing and a testimony of Your goodness.
We rebuke the enemy in this situation and command every plan of sabotage and deceit to be rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. Let the truth prevail, and let our brother be vindicated. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to act. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
