Beloved of All
Lord, I have not boasted haughtily against my neighbor; I have not boasted in my strength, saying my arm has brought me this far. Lord, You know all things, and by You our actions are weighed.
Many are the devices of men against me—to exchange my glory for shame and to determine the course of events in my life.
Yet it is Your counsel that shall stand, and You are the One who changes times and seasons—to enthrone the lowly and dethrone the haughty, the oppressor, and the tyrant; for You have said, “No oppressor shall again march over them.”
You set those who are lowly and afflicted in prosperity and save the poor from the hand of the mighty.
Save me from the disdain and disfavor of men, for the hearts of kings are in Your hand; You turn them wherever You wish.
Let not these devices fashioned against me prosper. Let the eyes of my enemies behold Your promotion in my life, for promotion comes from You.
Lord, You are my King. Let not man rule over me or determine my portion in life, for all the days planned and formed for me are written in Your book before I was even one day old.
Lord, how long will men strive to withstand Your plans for me and say no to Your purpose in my life? For the earth and its fullness are Yours, and the silver and the gold are Yours also.
Let, O God, the strength of those who are against me be loosened, and let the gates be opened; for You have spoken and will perform it.
Lord, shall the cross be despised when it comes to laws and to servants? And will You count as nothing the sufferings of Christ, allowing men to cause destruction to my spirit because of doctrine, or another man, or ministry, or family, or money, or any such things?
I appeal to You to intervene and ordain welfare for me, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
