Prayer for God's intervention

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord, I have not boasted haughtily against my neighbor; I have not boasted in my strength, saying my arm has brought me this far. Lord, You know all things, and by You our actions are weighed.

Many are the devices of men against me—to exchange my glory for shame and to determine the course of events in my life.

Yet it is Your counsel that shall stand, and You are the One who changes times and seasons—to enthrone the lowly and dethrone the haughty, the oppressor, and the tyrant; for You have said, “No oppressor shall again march over them.”

You set those who are lowly and afflicted in prosperity and save the poor from the hand of the mighty.

Save me from the disdain and disfavor of men, for the hearts of kings are in Your hand; You turn them wherever You wish.

Let not these devices fashioned against me prosper. Let the eyes of my enemies behold Your promotion in my life, for promotion comes from You.

Lord, You are my King. Let not man rule over me or determine my portion in life, for all the days planned and formed for me are written in Your book before I was even one day old.

Lord, how long will men strive to withstand Your plans for me and say no to Your purpose in my life? For the earth and its fullness are Yours, and the silver and the gold are Yours also.

Let, O God, the strength of those who are against me be loosened, and let the gates be opened; for You have spoken and will perform it.

Lord, shall the cross be despised when it comes to laws and to servants? And will You count as nothing the sufferings of Christ, allowing men to cause destruction to my spirit because of doctrine, or another man, or ministry, or family, or money, or any such things?

I appeal to You to intervene and ordain welfare for me, in the name of the Lord Jesus.

We hear your cry, beloved, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace, lifting your heartfelt plea to the Lord our God. You have rightly acknowledged that it is by His counsel alone that the course of our lives is determined, and it is His strength—not our own—that upholds us. The Word declares, *"The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations"* (Psalm 33:10-11). We take comfort in this truth, for though men may devise schemes against you, their plans will not prosper if they are not aligned with God’s perfect will.

You have expressed a deep longing for God’s intervention against those who seek to shame you and manipulate the events of your life. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, disdain, and disfavor that has been directed toward you. The Lord has promised, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me"* (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that every device fashioned against you shall be rendered powerless, and the eyes of your enemies will witness the promotion and favor of the Lord upon your life. For it is written, *"For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and sets up another"* (Psalm 75:6-7).

We also lift up your concern regarding the cross and the sufferings of Christ. You ask whether the cross will be despised in matters of law, doctrine, or ministry. We affirm that the cross is the very power of God unto salvation (1 Corinthians 1:18), and no man, institution, or system has the authority to diminish its significance. We rebuke every spirit that seeks to distort or undermine the truth of the Gospel, and we pray that God would expose and dismantle every ungodly influence that opposes His Word. The Apostle Paul wrote, *"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes"* (Romans 1:16). Let no man, no law, and no ideology strip you of the victory that Christ has already secured for you.

You have asked how long men will strive against God’s plans for you. We remind you that the Lord is not slow concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and His timing is perfect. Though the earth and all its fullness belong to Him, He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We pray that the Lord would loosen the strength of those who oppose you and open the gates that have been closed against you. For He has spoken, and He will perform it (Ezekiel 36:36).

We also take note of your concern for the welfare of your spirit, ministry, family, and resources. The enemy seeks to destroy all that God has ordained for His glory, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We pray that the Lord would intervene and ordain welfare for you, just as He promised His people through the prophet Jeremiah: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope"* (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We lift up our brother/sister who has poured out their heart before You, acknowledging Your sovereignty over all things. Lord, You see the devices of men that have been set against them, and You know the weight of their burdens. We ask that You would arise and scatter every enemy that has risen up against them. Let Your light expose their schemes, and let Your hand of protection shield them from every attack.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We pray that You would turn the hearts of those in authority toward them, that they may find favor in the eyes of kings and rulers. Let Your promotion be evident in their life, and let Your glory be revealed through their circumstances.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their spirit and renew their mind. Guard their heart against bitterness, fear, or despair, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, disdain, and disfavor, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Let Your counsel stand in their life, and let Your purposes be fulfilled in them.

We also pray for their ministry, family, and resources. Protect them from every attack of the enemy, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Let no man, no law, and no ideology stand against the truth of Your Word. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, and may their life be a testimony to Your faithfulness.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect timing. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend. We've been reflecting on your prayer and we want you to know that we're standing with you, lifting your plea up to our heavenly Father together.

You've expressed such a deep trust in God's sovereignty, acknowledging that it's His counsel that determines the course of our lives, not our own. We're encouraged by your faith and we want to remind you of the promise in Proverbs 16:9, "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." Trust in His plan, even when it's hard to see.

We've also been meditating on the verse you mentioned, "No weapon formed against you will prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). We declare this over your life, that every scheme, every plot, every device formed against you will not succeed. Instead, we pray that God will turn the hearts of those in authority towards you, that they may find favor in your life and that God's promotion will be evident.

We're also praying for your spirit, your ministry, your family, and your resources. We ask that God would protect you from every attack of the enemy and provide for every need according to His riches in glory. We pray that you would walk in the fullness of God's promises and that your life would be a testimony to His faithfulness.

Let's keep standing together, dear friend. Let's keep trusting in God's unfailing love and His perfect timing. He's got this. He's got you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
