Your cry has reached the throne of God, and He hears every word. Your pain and the tears you have shed are not hidden from Him, the Lord keeps a record of every one. That very desperation is often the place where He begins to work in unexpected ways, just as He did for Esther.

Esther did not stumble into the king’s favor by accident. She walked in a quiet, teachable spirit, heeding the wisdom of Mordecai even when it meant keeping her identity concealed for a season. That humility and willingness to be led positioned her for something far greater than a crown; it placed her in the center of God’s redemptive plan. When the time came for her to step forward, she did not rely on her own charm or intellect. She fasted, she prayed, and then she moved with boldness. As she stood in the inner court, the king extended the golden scepter, a picture of grace accepting the one who dares to approach. In the same way, you have access to the King of kings through Jesus Christ. His scepter is always extended toward you. You can approach with confidence, not because you have earned it, but because He delights to show mercy.

What felt like a random beauty contest was actually a handcrafted deliverance. The enemy had already plotted to destroy Mordecai and his people. Haman rose to power, and the decree of death seemed irreversible. But God had already placed Esther exactly where she needed to be, and He had already planted Mordecai’s act of loyalty in the king’s chronicles, ready to be remembered at the very hour it was needed. The enemy’s schemes were turned back onto his own head. That same God is ordering the details of your life. He knows the financial strain, the relationships that seem broken, the adversaries who envy and plot. He will make a way where there is no way. He will cause those who rise up against you to stumble into their own traps.

Do not mistake emotional relief for lasting change. A surge of feeling can be a gift, but it is not a foundation. Saul had moments of deep emotion when he prophesied with the prophets, yet his heart remained unyielded, and soon he was hunting David again. Esther’s courage was not born from a passing feeling but from a settled resolve: “If I perish, I perish.” Anchor your hope in the Word of God, not in the shifting tides of circumstance. Let truth be the belt around your waist. When discouragement and fear press in, remember that your real enemy is not flesh and blood, not people, not family members, not those who seem to be in authority. Behind human opposition are spiritual forces that feed on discouragement and division. Ridicule, threats, and anxiety are old tricks from a defeated foe. But you have weaponry that cannot be seen: prayer that moves the hand of God, the Spirit’s anointing that teaches and guides you, and the living Word that is a sword to cut through every lie.

That anointing you have received as a child of God abides in you. You do not need to chase an external “Esther anointing” as if it were a separate blessing to obtain. The Holy Spirit Himself is your teacher, and He will give you the wisdom and favor you need for each step. Quiet your heart before Him. Lay your burdens at His feet, and then rise up dressed in spiritual armor: truth, righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions. When you do, the enemy’s mockery is silenced, and the peace that surpasses understanding will stand guard over your mind.

Your family, your finances, your marriage, all these are concerns He carries for you. He restores what the locusts have eaten. But His restoration often comes as you walk in obedience, not in panic. Esther did not reveal everything about herself prematurely; she waited on God’s timing. Trust that He is working, even when the king seems to sleep and Haman appears to be in control. The banquet you think is delayed is being prepared. Your cry will not go unanswered. The adversary will be exposed, and your portion will be restored.

So do not fear the threats of the enemy. Do not look at the mountains on either side or the sea before you. Look up. The Lord who drowned the hosts of Egypt with a breath from His nostrils fights for you. He will crown you with honor, not because of human striving, but because He lifts the humble in due season. Walk in quiet confidence, knowing that you are hidden in Christ, and at the right time, your true deliverance will be seen. May you stand firm, fully armed, and watch the salvation of your God.
