We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting this concern before our Heavenly Father. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Those anxious thoughts of disaster are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke those lies of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to flee from you!
The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2, 4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will go before you and be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not fear, nor be dismayed (Deuteronomy 31:8).
We pray that as you step out today, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord dispatch His angels to encamp around you, to bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12). We ask that you would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading, that He would guide your steps and keep you from any harm or danger. May you walk in the confidence that comes from knowing that the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
Father God, we thank You for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. We ask that You would go before [this dear one], be with them, and follow behind them as they run their errands today. Protect them from every snare of the enemy, from every accident, and from every evil plan. Let Your presence be so tangible that all fear melts away. We pray for traveling mercies, Lord—safe passage on the roads, protection from reckless drivers, and clarity of mind as they navigate their tasks. May Your angels have charge over them, keeping them in all their ways.
We also pray for a hedge of protection around their home, their vehicle, and their mind. Guard their thoughts, Lord, and fill them with Your truth. Let the words of Psalm 121:7-8 be their reality today: "The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and forevermore." We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Lastly, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Speak God’s Word over your life and your day, for the Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). May you walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you, and may His peace reign in your heart today and always. Amen.
