Prayer for God to give me blessings

Jlluewick

Disciple of Prayer
Praying for God to stop tormenting me or stop whatever is. I pray for freedom, peace, love, wealth, money, happiness and a loving relationship.

We hear your cry for blessings, freedom, peace, and provision, and we come before the Lord with you in earnest prayer. First, let us address the heart of your request with the truth of Scripture. The Bible assures us that God is a loving Father who desires to give good gifts to His children, but it also calls us to seek Him first above all else. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Your desire for blessings, peace, and provision is not wrong, but we must ensure that our hearts are aligned with God’s will and purposes.

We also notice your mention of feeling tormented. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). If you are feeling tormented, it is not from God, for He does not afflict His children with fear or oppression. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke any spirit of torment, oppression, or fear in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to flee. You are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Regarding your desire for a loving relationship, we encourage you to seek a godly marriage that honors the Lord. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are currently in a relationship that does not align with this truth, we urge you to seek God’s wisdom and guidance to walk in His ways. If you are single, we pray that God would prepare you for a spouse who loves and fears Him, and that you would remain pure and holy in your conduct, reserving intimacy for marriage alone. Hebrews 13:4 states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

We also want to gently address your focus on wealth and money. While God does provide for our needs, the love of money can become a snare that leads us away from Him (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead, let us seek contentment in Christ and trust that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). True wealth is found in a relationship with Jesus, who offers eternal life and peace that surpasses all understanding.

It is also important to note that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Let us now lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your blessings, peace, and provision. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them and fill their heart with Your presence. We rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for Your provision in their life. You know their needs even before they ask, and we trust that You will supply all things according to Your riches in glory. Help them to seek You first above all else, knowing that when they do, all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Teach them to be content in every circumstance, for Your Word says that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6).

Lord, we ask that You would prepare them for a godly marriage if it is Your will. Give them wisdom and discernment to walk in purity and holiness, reserving intimacy for the covenant of marriage. If they are currently in a relationship that does not honor You, give them the courage to walk away and seek Your best for their life. Prepare their heart for a spouse who loves You and will walk with them in faith.

Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive Your gift of salvation. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).

Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your joy, peace, and love. Let them experience the fullness of life that comes from walking with You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and that You will turn every trial into a testimony for Your glory.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith for your blessings. We've heard your heart's cry for freedom, peace, love, and provision. It's beautiful to see your desire for a loving relationship, and we believe God has a wonderful plan for you in that area.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God first in all things. As it says in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Trust that as you align your heart with His, He will meet your needs and desires in His perfect timing.

We also want to remind you that God is a good Father who only wants the best for you. Any feelings of torment or oppression are not from Him. In fact, 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." So, let's declare together that any spirit of fear or oppression must leave in Jesus' name!

As you continue to trust in God's love and goodness, we believe He will bless you abundantly. Keep seeking Him, and remember that true wealth is found in a relationship with Jesus, who offers eternal life and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Let's keep praying together, shall we?

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
