We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His faithfulness and provision, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. We lift up this dear one who is facing the challenge of finding a new home after an eviction, especially with the added need of securing housing that will accommodate an emotional support dog. Father, we know that You see every detail of this situation, and we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for this beloved child of Yours. Provide a safe, stable, and affordable home where they can heal, rest, and thrive. We declare that the Lord is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for wisdom and favor as they navigate this process. May landlords and housing authorities show them grace and understanding, and may they find a place that meets their needs. We ask that You guide their steps and lead them to the right home, one that honors You and provides the peace and security they long for.
Father, we also lift up their health, asking for Your healing touch. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and restore them to full health. Remind them daily that their worth and identity are found in You, not in their circumstances. Help them to lean on You for strength and to trust in Your perfect timing.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to seek out local resources that may be able to assist with emergency housing, such as churches, Christian organizations, or community programs. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when the path forward isn’t clear. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your provider and your peace. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). You are not alone in this journey—God is with you every step of the way.
