I ask for prayer that the managers of the sober living where I'm at to please not kick me out I pray that the Lord soften their hearts that they may have mercy on me and for God to guide me and strengthen me use me for his purposes may he be glorified through this all for his Glory

We join you in prayer and we thank you for your desire that the Lord be glorified through this difficult situation, for that is the highest purpose we can have in any trial.

We hear your heart crying out for mercy regarding your housing in sober living and for strength to walk in the path God has for you. We know that God is sovereign over the hearts of those in authority and He is also the one who sustains us in sobriety and in holiness. The Scripture says, The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. We take comfort that the hearts of your managers are in His hands, and He is able to soften them and to grant you favor and mercy. It also says, It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness Lamentations 3:22-23.

We also want to encourage you to continue to honor God in your sober living by walking in humility, obedience, and responsibility. Sobriety is not only for your health but for God's glory, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. The Scripture says, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. God calls us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service Romans 12:1. This means submitting to the rules of the house, being honest, teachable, and diligent, and allowing the Lord to do a deeper work of cleansing and renewal in you. He promises, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10. If you remain in Christ, you are a new creation, the old things have passed away 2 Corinthians 5:17, and God will give you strength for each day. We are reminded, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me Philippians 4:13, and No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We notice you spoke of the Lord and His glory, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive mercy. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. So we encourage you, if you have not already, to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, confessing your sins and believing that He died for you and rose again, for then you can boldly approach God's throne of grace for mercy and help in time of need.

Together we pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace. We ask that You be glorified in this situation and in his life. Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of the managers of this sober living home, that they would show mercy and grace, and that if it is Your will, You would allow him to remain and continue on this path of sobriety and restoration. We pray that You would give him a humble and repentant spirit, willing to take responsibility and to walk in obedience. Guide him, Lord, and strengthen him by Your Spirit to resist temptation and to walk in holiness one day at a time. Use him for Your purposes, that his life would be a testimony of Your redeeming power and mercy to others. Grant him wisdom as You have promised to give generously to those who ask, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him, and help him to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to stay close to the Lord through prayer, through His Word, and through fellowship with other believers who will support your sobriety and your faith. Trust that whether the door remains open or God leads you elsewhere, He will guide your steps if you seek Him with your whole heart. He is faithful and He will not forsake you.

We hear how much you want to honor the Lord in this season, even while you are carrying the worry about your housing. Wanting Him to be glorified through your time in sober living says a lot about your heart, and we are thankful you shared this with us.

It makes sense that you would feel unsettled right now. Sober living can feel fragile, and asking managers for mercy takes humility. We are praying with you that they will listen with understanding and that you will have clarity and steadiness for whatever conversation comes next.

One small step that often helps is to go to them directly and humbly, before any decision is made, and ask what they most need to see from you to feel confident in your commitment. If you have a sponsor, counselor, pastor or trusted mentor, consider asking that person to support you in that conversation and to help you stay anchored in the daily practices that support recovery. You do not have to carry this alone, and seeking wise, steady support is part of how God strengthens us.

Father, we lift our brother to You. We ask for mercy and wisdom for the managers, for stability in his housing, and for Your guidance and strength for him day by day. Use his life for Your glory and give him hope as he walks forward. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours that the Lord may indeed be glorified in all that befalls you.

We pray that the God of all mercy, who is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy, will look upon you in this hour of need. You have done well to appeal for mercy, for mercy delights to visit misery, and mercy is welcome news to those that stand in need. We ask that He would soften the hearts of those who have charge over the sober living house where you dwell, and move them to show you kindness and forbearance. As you have asked, may the Lord who holds all hearts in His hands incline them to compassion, if it be His gracious will, and grant you continued shelter and time to be established.

We pray also that you may know what it is to have a living, loving, lasting union with Christ. For living contact with Him is our only hope, either for the present or for the future. He is full of life, and when He takes hold of us and raises our life into His, there is truly a living union between Him and us. May your life be in Him and His life in you, that whether living or dying you may be His, and may heaven be yours through that blessed Vine of which we are the branches.

You ask for guidance and strength, and to be used for His purposes. Hear the promise, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Human strength will spend itself in due time, for all strength apart from God is derived strength and must come to an end. But the strength of God is inexhaustible Omnipotence. To those who have no might He increases strength. When there remains no strength in you, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it. The Lord Himself says, I will strengthen them, and therefore it will be fitly infused and wisely balanced. Wait upon the Lord in prayer, in His Word, in quiet trust, and He will renew your strength day by day.

We pray that you may feel your need aright, with a contrite spirit, for the Lord dwells with those of a contrite and humble heart. Devoid of all strength and of all merit, may you look to Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. The Gospel asks nothing of us but what it gives to us, and all God's mercy to a sinner is gratis. He never sells, He always gives. May you receive His tender mercy which has made great provisions in Christ Jesus, and may that mercy make you a new creation, giving you new loves and new hates, and turning your face fully toward holiness and sobriety.

We ask that God would forestall you with His mercy, that He would go before you and make provision even before you call. While you are yet speaking may He hear you, and may He guide your steps, keep you from temptation, establish you in sobriety, and use you for His glory. May all that is done in you and through you cause men to see the power of His grace and give praise to His name alone.

May the Lord keep you, strengthen you, and cause His face to shine upon you, and may He be glorified in your life and testimony, for His glory alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
