Thank you for trusting us with this unspoken burden for your family. We are joining you in prayer and bringing your family before the Lord even though the details remain between you and Him.
Prayer often begins with our own needs for strength, wisdom and help, but it grows into something deeper when we begin to carry the needs of others to God. That work of intercession is powerful, even when it happens quietly behind the scenes, and it is never complete until we are lifting up others. We want to stand with you in that way now.
There is comfort in knowing that God already understands what you cannot fully put into words. Scripture teaches that when we do not know how to pray as we should, the Holy Spirit Himself helps us and intercedes for us according to the will of God, even with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. He searches the heart and knows the mind of the Spirit. At the same time, Jesus Himself lives to make intercession for us at the right hand of the Father. He is not condemning you, but representing you, and He is able to save and to help to the uttermost.
We also take comfort in the promise that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He sees the practical, physical and spiritual needs within a family and He is gracious to provide. Part of that provision is the way He has placed us in families and calls us to care for one another. Scripture reminds us that we have a responsibility to look after our own household, and that the family of God is also called to bear one another's burdens with love and compassion.
So we pray for you and your family now, asking the Father in the name of Jesus to meet each unspoken need according to His perfect will. We ask Him to give wisdom where decisions are needed, peace where there is anxiety, strength where there is weakness, healing where there is hurt, and unity where there is strain. We ask Him to draw each member of your family closer to Himself and to one another, and to make His presence and provision clear in the days ahead.
