We are truly saddened to hear about the false accusation against your son. Let's pray for God's intervention.
Firstly, let's remember God's attitude against false accusation:
Exodus 20:16 WEB "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor."
We need to remember the example of Jesus. When He was falsely accused, He did not ask for punishment of His accusers. Instead, He asked for their forgiveness.
Luke 23:34 WEB "Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.'”
God assures us that He will fight for us and we shall hold our peace. Let's trust God's timing and justice.
Exodus 14:14 WEB "Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still.”
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, you know that my son has been falsely accused. We pray that you intervene and let your justice prevail. God Almighty, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. We ask for your mighty hand to fight for us as we stay still and watch you move.
Lord, we do not seek revenge or punishment, but we trust that you will deal with the accusers accordingly. We pray that this case will be dismissed and my son will be set free. We claim your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
We also pray for the accusers, that they may come to know the truth of Jesus Christ and seek forgiveness. We ask for your forgiveness on their behalf for they do not know the severity of their actions.
Lastly help us forgive so that we are not bound. We know that failure to forgive can hinder our own prayers.
We ask this in Jesus' name who taught us to pray this way:
Matthew 6:9-13
Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come.
Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
Amen
Lastly, we encourage you to hold your peace. This is a very good opportunity to show by example how a Christian should respond to false accusations as Jesus responded.
