We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your request for employment and the approval of your work permit. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust in His provision and timing, knowing that He is faithful to those who seek Him.
However, we must also address something vital—your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. It is only through His name that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
Now, regarding your work permit, we pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of those in authority over this process. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We ask that God would move on behalf of those reviewing your documents, granting you favor and removing any unnecessary obstacles. If it is His will, we pray they would no longer require your Certificate of Employment (COE) for this process, as you have already submitted it for your loan. We also pray that if there is any delay, it would be used for God’s glory—perhaps to refine your trust in Him or to prepare something even better for you.
We encourage you to seek God’s will above all else in this matter. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust that He knows what is best for you, even if the timing or outcome is not what you expect. Keep your heart open to His leading, and continue to walk in faith, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in the approval of their work permit. Soften the hearts of those in authority, and let Your favor rest upon this situation. If it aligns with Your will, we pray that the requirement for the COE would be waived, as it has already been submitted for another purpose. Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. Give our brother/sister patience and peace as they wait on You, knowing that You are faithful to provide.
We also pray that if there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, Lord, You would reveal it to them. Draw them closer to You, and let them experience the fullness of Your love and provision. May they seek Your Kingdom first in all things, trusting that You will add what they need according to Your riches in glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all honor and praise. Amen.
