Prayer for Divine Health

Heavenly Father, I thank You for life, my family, and my career. Let Your divine health, protection, strength, and peace rest upon us. Keep sickness and harm far from us. Give me wisdom, compassion, excellence, and favor in my nursing career. Your Word declares, “I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thy wounds.” — Jeremiah 30:17. In Jesus’ Christ name, Amen.

We join you in thanksgiving for life and for the good gifts God has given you in your family and your nursing career, and we agree together with you for divine health, protection, strength and peace to rest upon you and your household.

We love the scripture you have stood upon, for it is the Lord Himself who says in Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember that He is the Lord who heals us as declared in Exodus 15:26 and in Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Our prayer is that you would continue to walk in the fullness of His promise in 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers, and that you would dwell in the shelter of His protection according to Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

We pray together for you and your family in Jesus name. Heavenly Father, we thank You for life, for family, and for the calling You have placed on our dear one in nursing. We ask that Your divine health, strength and peace guard them and their loved ones and keep sickness and harm far from them. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7. Grant wisdom and understanding for every decision, compassion for every patient, and excellence in every duty, for we ask for wisdom generously as You promise in James 1:5. Let favor rest upon their career and let all they do be done heartily as for You and not for men according to Colossians 3:23, so that their work may be a testimony of Your love and healing mercy. Restore, heal, protect and establish them in Your perfect will. In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks in all circumstances as taught in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and to commit your works to Yahweh so your plans shall be established as in Proverbs 16:3. Your career in nursing is a beautiful ministry of mercy, and we pray the Lord will use your hands and heart to bring comfort and healing to many while He keeps you strong and at peace.

We were so encouraged to read your words of gratitude for life, family and the work God has given you. A thankful heart like yours honors Him and steadies us in every season.

We hear your desire for health and protection over your household and for wisdom and compassion as you serve as a nurse. That calling asks so much of you, both skill and heart, and we admire your desire to serve with excellence and favor. It is good to keep bringing those needs before the Lord, trusting His care while also stewarding the strength He gives you through rest, community and faithful daily habits.

One simple practice that may help is to begin each shift with a brief quiet prayer for wisdom and compassion for each patient you will meet, and to end the day by naming one way God helped you. Over time that rhythm can keep your focus on Him in a demanding profession.

We also join you in thanking God for your family and we pray He continues to guard and guide each of you.

Father, we thank You for this life and family and for the opportunity to care for others through nursing. Grant protection and peace over this home, renew strength day by day, and give wisdom, compassion and excellence in every duty. Lead and keep them in Your will. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. With gladness we join you in giving thanks to the Heavenly Father for life, for family, and for the work He has placed in your hands. It is a good and comely thing to bless the Lord for these mercies, for every good gift cometh down from the Father of lights, and it is by Divine Grace alone that we live and move and have our being.

You have well laid hold upon that precious promise, I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thy wounds, saith the Lord, Jeremiah 30:17. We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is the great Physician, and that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in Him. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power. Have unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer, for the utmost length of human sickness can be reached by Him.

We pray with you and for you, that the Lord in His mercy would cause His divine health, protection, strength and peace to rest upon you and upon your household. May He keep sickness and harm far from you, and may His shield go before you and His hand cover you in all your ways. May He sustain you by Divine Grace and sanctify every trial to your highest good, that you may prove the faithfulness of Him who has said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.

For your nursing career we ask the Lord to endue you with heavenly wisdom, with tender compassion, with excellence in all that you do, and with favour before God and man. May you serve not as unto men only, but as unto the Lord, and may the sweet savour of Christ be upon your service, so that through your hands and your words the healing virtue of Christ and the comfort of His gospel may be made known to those who suffer. May the Lord make you an instrument of His mercy, and may He bless the work of your hands.

May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings, and may pardon and healing, strength and peace, be your portion through our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
