Please pray for God’s guidance, favour, and open doors in every area of my life. May He grant me wisdom to make the right decisions, bless the work of my hands, and bring the right opportunities and people my way. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your desire for divine guidance, favor, and open doors in every area of your life. The Lord delights in those who seek His wisdom and direction, and we join with you in asking Him to lead you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

First, we must acknowledge that true wisdom and favor come only through a relationship with Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or receive the fullness of God’s blessings (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation. For it is written, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are lost and without hope, but in Him, we find eternal life and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Now, let us pray for the specific desires of your heart:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We ask that You grant [this individual] divine wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will. May Your Holy Spirit guide their steps, illuminating the path You have set before them. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that would lead them astray (Revelation 3:8). Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield, and may the work of their hands be blessed and fruitful, for it is written, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3).

Lord, we also pray that You would bring the right opportunities and people into their life, those who will sharpen them in faith, encourage them in righteousness, and walk alongside them in Your purposes. Protect them from relationships or influences that would draw them away from You, and give them discernment to recognize Your hand at work. May they trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that would seek to hinder their progress. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against [this individual] shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would cultivate in them a heart of gratitude and contentment, recognizing that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen their faith to wait on You, even when the answers seem delayed, for You are never late and always faithful.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest desire for God's leading. Wanting wisdom for decisions and for your work to matter is a good and humble place to be, and we are glad to stand with you in it.

When so much feels uncertain it can help to narrow your prayer to what is right in front of you. You might take a few minutes this week to write down the one or two decisions weighing on you most, what an open door would actually look like, and the people already in your life who know you well and love God. Bringing those specifics to God in quiet prayer and inviting one trusted, mature believer to listen and speak honestly can often bring clarity that general worrying does not.

We are praying that God makes your next steps clear and gives you steadiness as you take them.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your guidance and favour over every area of life. Grant wisdom for each decision, bless the work of their hands, and in Your timing bring the opportunities and people that align with Your will. Lead them gently and give peace as they follow You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer and thank God for your desire to seek Him first in every area of your life. It is a wise and good thing to ask for His guidance, for naturally we do not like being guided, but grace dethrones obstinacy and gives us a willingness to bow to the Divine will, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance.

Scripture promises, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. True wisdom is near akin to holiness, and a grain of Divine grace is worth more than a ton of worldly knowledge. When we walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom, He makes the path plain and dresses His wisdom in robes of love and tenderness to invite us into His way. There is no attribute more comforting than Divine Sovereignty, to know that His hand is in everything, that He goes before His people and His shield clears the way, and that He opens doors which no man can shut and shuts doors for our good.

We pray for you now.

Our gracious Father, we come before the open fountain which Thou hast provided through the blood of Jesus Christ, where sin is cleansed and the soul is revived, and we ask for this one who seeks Thy face. Grant divine guidance in every decision, and give wisdom liberally to choose what is right and pleasing in Thy sight. Bestow Thy favour, for Thou art a generous Lawgiver and Father, and let Thy blessing rest upon the work of hands. In Thy sovereignty, open the doors that Thou wouldst have opened, and close those that would lead away from Thy purpose. Bring the right opportunities and the right people across this life at the right moment, that praise and glory may redound to Thy name. Keep this one from haste and from leaning on earthly wisdom, and cause continual dependence upon Thy Spirit and Thy Word, which is the open evidence of Thy will. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.

May the Lord keep you close to His Word and to prayer, waiting upon Him for each step, trusting that He who guides will also provide and that He who opens the door will give grace to walk through it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request for God's guidance, favour and open doors in every area of your life, and we join you in prayer to our merciful Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We ask Him first to grant you true wisdom, not the wisdom of this world which comes to nothing and cannot profit even here, but the wisdom which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory and has revealed as a mystery in Christ. Scripture calls virtue wisdom, and sin folly. The fool says in his heart there is no God, and folly shows itself when a person wraps himself in his own comforts while his brother is naked, or feeds his own desires while the image of God famishes. True wisdom is lowliness of mind, mercy and almsgiving, contempt for empty glory, knowledge of what is divine and what is human, and learning to give thanks to God in all things so that you are not carried away by prosperity nor crushed by hardship. We pray that God will give you such wisdom to make right decisions, to know how to use what you have, to be sparing with what perishes and generous with what endures, and to see your life with sober and thankful eyes.

We pray also for His favour. Favour with God is not gained by extortion or by cleverness, but by a pure and merciful heart. Mercifulness is like a queen who stands near God and readily asks favour for those she loves. She breaks chains, disperses darkness, quenches fire and opens the gates of heaven with great security, as when a queen enters and no guard dares to question her. For our Lord said, be merciful as your heavenly Father is merciful. We ask that as you walk in mercy and love toward others, you may find confidence before God and that His favour would rest upon the work of your hands.

We pray for open doors as God in His providence opens them. When Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises at midnight after being scourged and thrust into the inner prison, God suddenly shook the foundations and all the doors were opened and every chain was loosed. Yet this was not done for display, but for salvation, that the jailer and his household might believe and be saved. So we ask that God would open the right doors before you and close the wrong ones, for He sometimes leads us to the very vestibule and does not yet open the door, and this also He does for our good. May He open to you opportunities and bring the right people into your path that lead to life and holiness and useful service, and may He keep shut every door that would lead you away from Him.

We also exhort you to keep the gift of grace alive within you. Do not quench the Spirit. An impure life and anxious, earthly cares poured over the lamp extinguish it, and even when you do not pour them yourself, a violent wind can do so if the lamp has little oil and the openings are left unguarded. Guard your eyes and ears and shut the door of your mouth with the fear of God, so that the blast of wickedness does not enter. Keep vigil in prayer, keep oil in your lamp through faith, repentance and thanksgiving, so that when God shakes what must be shaken, you will stand firm.

Therefore we pray: Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our wisdom and our salvation, grant to this your servant wisdom from above, favour that comes from a merciful heart like yours, and open doors that you have prepared. Bless the work of his hands, guide his steps, and bring into his life the opportunities and companions that will help him love you and serve his neighbor. Let all that you grant lead him to give thanks in all things and to seek first your kingdom. Amen.

We thank God for your desire to seek Him for guidance, favor and open doors, and we are praying with you.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most valuable thing you can pursue, more desirable than riches or anything else you might want. Knowledge can give you facts, but wisdom shows you how to apply what you know in a way that honors God and leads to life. The starting place for that kind of wisdom is reverence for the Lord. When you walk in the fear of the Lord, you are positioned to receive His instruction and to make decisions that are right in His eyes.

This is why the prayer of Solomon is such a good example for you. When God invited him to ask for anything, he did not ask for wealth or honor, but for an understanding heart to lead well. God was pleased with that request and He gave Solomon wisdom, and with it He also added blessings that Solomon had not even asked for. The Lord still delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him for it. If you lack wisdom, you can ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and He will give it.

All true wisdom is found in Christ. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He has been made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. There is a wisdom of this world that sounds impressive but is earthly and leads to envy and strife and comes to nothing. The wisdom that comes from above is different. It leads to purity, peace and a life that bears good fruit, and it gives life to those who have it. It is a protection and a guide.

The Scriptures also promise that the one who finds wisdom finds life and obtains favor from the Lord. Wisdom is pictured as standing in the public places, at the gates and at the doors, calling out to all who will listen. To watch daily at the Lord's gates, to listen for His voice and to seek His counsel, is the way to find that favor and to see the right doors opened. Without counsel plans fail, but with wise counsel they succeed, so continue to seek God and the counsel of His Word and of mature believers as you make decisions.

We are praying that the Lord will pour out upon you the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that He will make your steps clear and give you discernment for every decision. We pray that He will establish the work of your hands, open the doors that are from Him and keep closed those that are not, and bring the right people and opportunities into your life according to His perfect will. May He grant you a love for wisdom, keep you in His favor, and lead you in the path that brings life and peace in Jesus Christ.
