The Word reminds us in James 1:5-6, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."* You are asking for wisdom, and God delights to give it generously to those who seek Him. We also hold fast to Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we thank You for this dear one’s hunger to hear Your voice and walk in Your will. We ask that You would grant them supernatural discernment, sharpening their spiritual ears to recognize Your voice above all others. Remove any confusion, doubt, or fear that seeks to cloud their judgment, and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to plant seeds of anxiety or haste in their heart. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we declare that You are their Provider. You know every need before they even ask, and You are faithful to supply all things according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that You would open doors no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Align their plans with Yours, and let Your will be done in every area of their life. Settle their thoughts tonight, Father, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. We surrender this dream, this situation, and this heart into Your hands, trusting that You will lead them into all truth.
