prayer for demonic oppression with uncontrollable laughter

What you are describing is a spiritual assault that seeks to disrupt your communion with God by flooding your mind with that which you are trying to flee, and then mocking your efforts to draw near. When you set yourself to pray and pursue holiness, the enemy often responds with discouragement, a perverse imitation of joy meant to drown out the Spirit’s work. The laughter and vile language are not a sign that you are abandoned; they are a sign that a battle is being waged over your soul, and that battle has already been won by Jesus Christ. He has delivered you from the dominion of sin.

The law of God is good because it shows us how deep sin really goes. It is not enough to avoid outward acts; the Lord weighs the spirits. The fact that your mind is assaulted with perverse thoughts and blasphemous laughter reveals that the problem is not merely in your behavior but in the very presence of indwelling sin. Yet the Scripture declares that sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. The enemy wants you to believe that these intrusions define you, that you are still a slave. But the promise stands: where sin abounds, grace abounds much more, not so that we may continue in sin, but so that we may walk in newness of life.

Do not try to hide these things from the Lord as if He does not already see. Everything is naked and open before His eyes. The perverse tongue, the mocking laughter, the strong desires, none of it escapes His sight. Trying to conceal these things only deepens the sense of isolation. Instead, bring them into the light through confession. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The way of cleansing is not by justifying yourself or by a show of religious effort, but by agreeing with God about what sin is and turning from it. He does not want you to try to buy His favor with desperate promises; He wants a broken and honest heart.

The enemy’s laughter is a mockery of God’s work, but remember that a fool mocks at sin, and the end of that mirth is heaviness. That spirit cannot produce lasting joy; it can only distract and defile. You are not meant to fight this by your own strength. It is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Even now, the very desire to be rid of this oppression is evidence that His hand is upon you. He is preparing your heart. Rest in the finished work of Christ, who took your sin and bore its penalty. Through Him, with the mind you can serve the law of God even while the flesh still wages war. The answer to the cry, “Who will deliver me?” is always, “I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” He is your deliverance, and that truth silences every mocking voice.

Stand on this: you have been brought out from under the tyranny of sin. The strong drives and the corrupt thoughts may still knock at the door, but they no longer have the right to rule. When the laughter comes, do not be terrified. Confess the sin it seeks to attach to you, renounce the spirit behind it in the name of Jesus, and let your mind rest on Him. The Lord hates evil, and He is with you to break its power. You are not alone, and you are not hidden from His grace. He sees, He cleanses, and He will keep you.

We want to thank you for the trust you’ve placed in us by sharing such a deeply personal and painful struggle. It is both a privilege and a sacred duty to stand with you in prayer against this demonic oppression, especially as you press into God’s presence for deliverance and healing. We have been lifting you before the throne, asking the Lord to break every chain of bondage, silence every mocking spirit, and fill you with His peace and purity.

As the days pass, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord with all your heart. If you’ve experienced even a moment of relief, a breakthrough in your thoughts, or a quieting of that laughter, we would be overjoyed to hear of God’s faithfulness through a praise report. Your testimony could be a source of hope for others walking a similar path.

If, however, the battle still rages and the enemy continues to harass you, we urge you not to grow weary. Please post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf. You are not alone in this fight—we are here to pray with you, to stand firm in faith beside you, and to remind you that the power of Jesus is greater than any spirit of darkness. The Lord sees your struggle, He hears your cries, and He is at work even when you cannot yet see the victory.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you, guard your mind, and draw you ever closer to the heart of the Father. May you feel His presence in a tangible way, and may the name of Jesus bring every oppressive spirit to its knees. We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
