Prayer for deliverance

There are numerous people being tortured to death for doing nothing around the world. Their torture comes as a result of reacting to their torture, which makes the torture continue and increase to the intensity where a reaction is inevitable. Please pray that God would intervene for victims of gang stalking and that He would expose these criminals and bring justice to this world.

We stand in the gap with heavy hearts for those enduring unimaginable suffering, those who are being tormented, persecuted, and even killed for no just cause. The cycle of torture you describe, where reaction only fuels further cruelty, is a tactic of the enemy to break the spirit and destroy hope. But we declare that God sees every tear, hears every cry, and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The wicked may plot in darkness, but the Lord is light, and He will expose their deeds (John 3:20-21). We pray not only for deliverance but for divine justice, for the Lord is a God who avenges and executes righteous judgment (Psalm 94:1).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up the victims of gang stalking, organized harassment, and all forms of persecution. Break the chains of their tormentors, Lord! Let Your hand of protection rest upon them, shielding them from further harm. Give them supernatural strength to endure, wisdom to navigate their trials, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Where the enemy seeks to isolate and silence them, let Your presence be their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

We rebuke the spirits of fear, oppression, and violence that fuel these acts of cruelty. The Bible declares that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We command these demonic forces to flee in Jesus’ name! Expose the hidden works of darkness, Lord. Let no scheme of the wicked prosper (Psalm 37:7). Bring their deeds to light so that justice may prevail. Raise up godly authorities, advocates, and intercessors who will stand against this evil and defend the innocent.

For those who are being persecuted for their faith, we pray that they would be filled with boldness to proclaim Christ even in the face of death (Acts 7:59-60). May their testimony shine as a light in the darkness, drawing others to salvation. For those who do not yet know You, we ask that this suffering would lead them to seek Your face. Let them encounter Your love and grace in their darkest moments, so they may cry out to Jesus and be saved (Romans 10:13).

We also pray for the perpetrators of these crimes. Father, soften their hardened hearts. Convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance (Ezekiel 33:11). Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness before it is too late. For those who refuse to repent, we ask that You render justice swiftly, that the innocent may be avenged and Your righteousness upheld.

Lord, we know that this world is not our home, and we groan for the day when You will wipe away every tear and put an end to all suffering (Revelation 21:4). Until then, strengthen Your people to stand firm in faith, to love their enemies, and to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and coming King. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this heavy burden to us. We hear your anguish for people who feel hunted and tormented with no way out, and your longing for God to step in with justice and mercy. It is right to bring that ache to Him, He sees what is hidden and His heart breaks over suffering and cruelty.

We join you in asking God to intervene for all who feel afraid, isolated, or overwhelmed, and to bring protection and relief where there is real harm. We also pray for truth to come into the light and for those who do wrong to be restrained and brought to justice in His way and timing.

When these concerns feel so large, it can help to not carry them alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, we encourage you to share how you are praying and let them pray with you regularly and walk alongside you. Staying rooted in a steady local community and in prayer can be a quiet anchor when the world feels dark and chaotic.

Father, we lift to You everyone who feels tormented and afraid today. Surround them with Your presence, guard them, and give them peace and rest. Lead them to safe and caring people, and guide authorities and communities to act with wisdom and justice. Expose what needs to be exposed and bring Your healing and hope where there has been deep pain. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, where prayer is heard. The oppression of which you speak, this cruel and hidden persecution where the innocent are tormented and their very anguish is turned against them, is not hidden from the eye of Him who sees all things done in darkness.

We know that the experience of the Christian in this world is very variable, and that the saint is often much tried and bowed. Yet we have this comfort, that all our ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. Nothing befalls the people of God apart from divine permission, and nothing lies outside the sacred zone of providential government. If this were not so, where should we be. But because the Lord reigns, we may be sure that He is able to make a way of deliverance, and that in His time He will bring forth justice.

Scripture assures us that knowledge of God is a divine armor by which we are able to ward off all the blows of the enemy, and that God has provided a divine buckler for His church against every fiery dart, namely this, that He never has forsaken them that fear Him, and moreover He never will do so. Though the persecutor may lay his hand heavily upon the innocent, the Lord forgets not the cry of the afflicted. Persecution in its many forms, whether by open violence or by slander and cruel mockings and venomous spite, has often been overruled by God to drive His people nearer to Himself, and to keep up the separation between the church and the world. How many prayers have been offered as the result of such oppression that would never have been offered else, and how often has the Lord used such trials to show His power to deliver.

For our deliverance, when it comes, is by divine power. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His people, and when any soul is saved from spiritual bondage or from the pit of affliction, it is the Lord Jesus who looses the captive. He has found a ransom, and He is mighty to save. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and that same arm is not shortened that it cannot save still.

We will pray for you and for all who suffer under this hidden cruelty. We will entreat the Lord that He would intervene for the victims, that He would be their refuge and their strong tower, that He would sustain them with the joy unspeakable which comes from knowing Him, and keep their faith alive upon the Rock of Ages. We will pray that He who loves justice and hates oppression would expose the workers of darkness, bring their deeds to light, and restrain their hand. We will ask that earthly justice, where it is possible, may be done, and that the greater justice of God, which will not fail, may be made manifest, to the comfort of the oppressed and to the praise of His holy name.

May the Lord perfect that which concerneth you, and may you prove in your own deliverance that His mercy endureth forever, and that He will not forsake those who put their trust in Him. We commend you to Him who heard Israel in Egypt and who hears still, through Jesus Christ our only hope and deliverer, in whose name we pray.

Your cry for those who suffer such cruel and unjust torture has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who sees all things and judges righteously.

We know that God does not overlook the shedding of innocent blood or the oppression of the helpless. Though He sometimes permits trials and persecution for a time, all things remain under His providence, and nothing escapes His eye. He is both perfectly just and abundantly merciful, and His justice is not like our own ideas of fairness, but higher and sure. What is done in darkness will be brought into the light, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

We pray with you now that the Lord Jesus Christ, who came to preach deliverance to the captives and to set the oppressed free, would draw near to every victim who is being tormented, isolated, and worn down by cruelty. We ask that He would grant them protection, comfort, strength to endure, and the assurance that they are not forgotten. We pray that He would sustain their souls, remind them that He crowns those who endure suffering with faith, and give them hope not only for relief in this life but for the better resurrection promised to those who trust in Him.

We also pray that God would restrain the hands of evildoers, expose every secret work of wickedness, and bring the truth into the open. We ask that He would move upon those in authority to act with wisdom and courage, to investigate with diligence, to defend the innocent, and to execute justice without partiality. Where criminals conspire and increase suffering, we pray that their deeds would be uncovered and that righteous judgment would come, both in this world according to the laws He has ordained, and finally before His own tribunal where every wrong will be answered.

We do not ask God for vengeance after the manner of human anger, but we do ask for His righteous judgment, that He would show mercy to the afflicted and bring to account those who do harm, calling all to repentance while there is time. For salvation is in Christ alone, and even those who do evil are called to turn from their ways and receive His mercy before the day of judgment.

May the Lord grant you and all who intercede for these suffering ones a steadfast faith, a clear mind, and a heart that continues to love truth and seek justice with patience. May He give peace to the troubled, strength to the weary, and confidence that though deliverance may not always come in the moment or manner we expect, He is able to keep His people above the power of fear and death itself.

We will continue to pray that God would intervene with power, that He would expose what is hidden, protect the vulnerable, and let justice roll down in this world as a testimony to His holy name, until the day when He will wipe away every tear and make all things right.

Your request reflects a deep anguish over suffering that feels relentless and hidden, where people are harmed without cause and any cry of pain seems to bring more harm. Thank you for bringing this burden forward so it can be lifted in prayer.

Scripture does not hide the reality of this kind of evil. From the earliest days of the church, persecution arose quickly. Those who followed Christ were scattered, suffered innocently, and were treated unjustly simply for who they were. The apostles wrote to believers who were experiencing heavy pressure and reminded them that God saw their affliction, that their faith was growing and their love for one another was abounding even under that weight. Persecution has a way of revealing what is genuine, strengthening true faith and binding believers together, and God has even used the scattering that comes from persecution to spread His word further.

At the same time the Bible is clear that God is a God of righteousness and justice. He calls His people to keep judgment and to do what is right and fair, not to cheat or take advantage of others. When justice is perverted and truth seems to fall in the streets, when it feels that no one is calling for what is right and that fairness cannot enter the places where it should be found, God still sees. The prophet described a time when judgment stood far off and justice could not overtake the people, when no one interceded, and the Lord saw it and was displeased. He does not overlook oppression. What is done in darkness will be judged. Those who inflict tribulation on others will face His righteous judgment, and those who suffer for doing what is right will find that their endurance is a sign of His justice.

We also remember that God is a deliverer. He delivered His people from slavery in Egypt and gave them a memorial of that deliverance through the blood of the lamb. That memorial now points to a greater deliverance, the deliverance from the power of sin through the Lamb of God who was slain for the world. From generation to generation His power to deliver has been proclaimed. We are not to trust in our own strength, but to trust in Him to deliver, whether from outward oppression or from inward fear and despair. Even when we feel cast off and unable to stand, we can say with the psalmist that we will trust in His deliverance.

When suffering comes though we are innocent, we have an example in Christ who suffered for us. He did not threaten in return but endured patiently, leaving us a pattern to follow. The apostle reminds us that in tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, peril and sword, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Even when counted as sheep for the slaughter, we remain secure in the love of God in Christ.

So we pray with you. Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to intervene for those who are being tormented and harmed without cause. You see what is hidden from human eyes. Expose what is done in secret, bring the works of darkness into the light, and restrain the hands of those who do evil. We ask for justice to prevail where justice now seems far away, for truth to be established and for equity to be restored. Protect those who are vulnerable, comfort those who are weary and wounded, and deliver them according to Your mercy and power. Give wisdom and courage to those who can act rightly, and raise up intercessors who will cry out for righteousness. Above all, draw each suffering heart to the deliverance that comes through the blood of Your Son, that they may know Your presence, Your peace, and Your hope even in the midst of trial. We trust Your promise that Your salvation is near and Your righteousness will be revealed, and that You will judge with perfect righteousness in Your time. Amen.
