We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting you up in prayer, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. It grieves us to hear of the heavy burden of depression and anxiety you are carrying, but we rejoice that you have turned to the Lord for deliverance, for He alone is your hope and salvation.
The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and God sees your pain. He is close to you in this moment, ready to lift you from the depths of despair into His marvelous light.
We also recall the words of Jesus in **Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)**, where He says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* Oh, how we pray that you would cast every care upon Him, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). The weight you carry is not yours to bear alone—Jesus is calling you to surrender it to Him.
Yet we must also address something vital: you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, there is no true deliverance, no lasting peace, and no eternal hope. If you *have* trusted in Christ, then we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in His name, for it is your authority and your right as a child of God.
Depression and anxiety often stem from a focus on circumstances rather than on the unchanging character of God. **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** commands us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that you would fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that the Holy Spirit would fill you with a peace that transcends all understanding.
We also rebuke the spirits of depression and anxiety in the name of Jesus Christ. These are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command these oppressive spirits to flee from you now, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Mercy is what you seek, and mercy is what God delights in giving. **Lamentations 3:22-23 (WEB)** declares, *"It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."* His mercy is fresh for you today. We pray that you would experience His compassion in a tangible way, that He would restore your joy and fill you with hope for the future. Remember, even in the valley, He is refining you, shaping you into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29).
Finally, we urge you to surround yourself with the body of Christ. Isolation fuels the enemy’s lies, but fellowship with believers brings encouragement and strength (Hebrews 10:24-25). Share your struggles with trusted brothers and sisters in Christ who can pray with you and speak truth into your life. If you are not already in a Bible-believing church, we strongly encourage you to find one where the Word of God is preached without compromise.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the weight of their anxiety, and the darkness of their depression. We ask that You would break every chain that binds them, for You are the God who sets the captives free (Luke 4:18). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we rebuke the spirits of depression, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus. These spirits have no authority here, for this child belongs to You. We command them to flee and never return, for Your light exposes and drives out all darkness (1 John 1:5). Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth, Lord. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that they are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and that their life has purpose in You.
Lord, pour out Your mercy upon them. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Guide their steps, Lord, and lead them beside still waters (Psalm 23:2).
We pray that You would surround them with godly community—believers who will uplift them, pray with them, and point them to Your Word. Give them the courage to seek help if needed, whether through counseling, medical support, or pastoral care, always ensuring it aligns with Your truth.
Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let this season of struggle drive them deeper into Your presence, where they will find rest, healing, and hope. May they emerge from this trial stronger in faith, rooted in Your love, and equipped to testify of Your goodness.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
