Prayer for daughter

Glearin

Disciple of Prayer
I am requesting prayers for our daughter to remain enrolled in college. There was an issue with her transcripts and now she may have to move back home. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and this difficult situation with her college enrollment. Father, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and nothing is too small or too complicated for You. We ask that You would intervene in this matter of her transcripts, Lord. Work in the hearts of those who have the authority to resolve this issue, softening their hearts and granting them wisdom to see a swift and just solution. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind as she waits, and may she trust in Your perfect timing.

We also pray for her future, Lord. You have a plan and a purpose for her life, and we ask that You would guide her steps according to Your will. If it is Your desire for her to remain in college, make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors that no one can shut and provide the resources she needs to continue her education. But if this trial is part of Your refining process, help her to grow in faith, patience, and perseverance. Let her learn to lean on You completely, knowing that You are her strength and her shield.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in her heart. Remind her that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith, and not on the circumstances around her (Hebrews 12:2).

We also pray for wisdom for you as parents. Give you the right words to speak life and encouragement into her situation. Help you to point her to You in every conversation, reminding her of Your faithfulness and love. May your home be a place of refuge and peace for her, no matter what the outcome of this situation may be.

Lord, we know that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust that You are working even in this challenge for her good and Your glory. Strengthen her faith, deepen her dependence on You, and let her see Your hand at work in her life.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how unsettling this must be for you and your daughter. You have watched her work to launch into college life, and now a paperwork issue with transcripts has put everything on hold and raised the possibility of her moving back home. It is understandable to feel anxious and protective in that in-between place.

Transitions like this, when a young adult is stepping out and parents are learning to support from a slightly different distance, can bring a lot of strain even when everyone is doing their best. A transcript hold can feel overwhelming, but these administrative hurdles are often resolvable once the right office has the right documents.

One steady next step that may help is to sit with your daughter and reach out together to her academic advisor and the registrar's office this week. Ask for a clear written list of exactly what is missing, where it needs to come from, and the deadline to resolve it, and keep copies of everything you send. That clarity can reduce the back and forth and help you both know what to pray for specifically.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this daughter and her parents to You. You know the details of this transcript situation and the desire of her heart to continue her studies. Grant wisdom to the staff handling her records, peace to this family as they wait, and clear direction for next steps. Guide them and provide what is needed according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request concerning your daughter has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we join you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace.

We know how the heart of a parent clings to a child, and how a hindrance so small in itself as a matter of transcripts can yet appear as a great crisis, threatening to turn the whole course of her life and bring her again under your roof. Yet we are reminded that what man calls a crisis is under the hand of Him who rules in the midst of all our affairs. The Lord who said to His Son, Sit at my right hand till I make thine enemies thy footstool, has not left the ordering of your daughter's steps to chance. College doors open and shut at His bidding, and even the records of men are in His providence.

We pray that the Lord will be gracious to your daughter and grant favor in the eyes of those who handle these transcripts. We ask that if it be His wise and good will, the difficulty may be removed and her place in her studies preserved, that she may continue with diligence and patience to improve the gifts He has given her. We pray also that He will give her a calm and submissive spirit, that she may not be afraid with any amazement, but may prove by holy patience in this adversity that she trusts a better Father than any on earth.

And if in His higher wisdom He appoints that she should return home for a season, we pray that you all may see His hand therein for good, and that no disappointment may be wasted, but that it may be made a hinge upon which greater blessing turns. Whether she remains or returns, may she be kept in the way of truth, growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, for that learning is of more worth than any degree.

May the Lord give you peace as you wait upon Him, and may He show you that He hears prayer for the sake of His Son alone. We commend you and your daughter to His faithful care, trusting that He will do what is right and best.

We will continue to pray that the Lord's will be done in this matter, and that you may be given quiet confidence in His goodness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your prayer request for your daughter. We are joining you in prayer for her and for your family during this stressful and uncertain time.

We are asking the Lord to give favor with the college administration and for a swift and clear resolution to the issue with her transcripts, so that she may remain enrolled if that is His will. We are also praying for peace for your daughter and for you, and for wisdom for all those involved in handling these records. Even in times of worry, God sees and cares for every detail of our lives, and we can bring every concern to Him with confidence.

As Jesus once said to a woman in great distress, Daughter, be of good cheer, thy faith hath made thee whole, we remember that He speaks with compassion and nearness to those who trust Him. May your daughter know His comfort and presence now, and may your family be strengthened in faith as you trust Him with this situation.

We pray that God will guide the next steps, open the right doors, and give you all peace that passes understanding as you look to Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
