Prayer for dance group

We join you in bringing this dance group and this important event before the Lord and we thank God for the talents He has given to each of you.
We are encouraged by your desire to seek the Lord for help with team spirit and coordination and to do your best. The Scripture tells us there is a time to dance in Ecclesiastes 3:4 and to praise His name in the dance in Psalm 149:3. We also remember the word in Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men and in 1 Corinthians 10:31 Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. So we pray that your preparation and your performance would be an offering to honor Him, whether or not it leads to an earthly victory. We also love your prayer for unity, for we are reminded in Psalm 133:1 See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity and in Romans 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function. May the Lord knit you together as one body on that stage, moving together in grace and order. Do not be anxious about remembering steps, for Philippians 4:6 tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
We noticed your prayer was addressed to Lord and closed with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and our prayers are heard as in Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him both for this event and for eternal life.
We pray together now, Father in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dance group to You. We ask that You fill them with Your peace and with a spirit of unity and encouragement for one another. Give them coordination, strength, and clarity of mind to remember every step You have helped them practice. Remove fear and striving and let them dance with joy and excellence unto You. We ask that Your will be done in the outcome and that whatever the result, they would give You the glory and know that true victory is found in Christ. Bless their time together and let their gifts point others to Your goodness. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We are praying with you for this event and for all thirty plus of you stepping onto that stage together. It is a beautiful thing to want to move as one and to bring your best offering to the Lord.
We know how easy it is to worry about forgetting steps when so many eyes are watching. What helps groups most is turning that nervous energy into shared focus. If time allows, try one more full run through exactly as you will perform, in formation, with music and costumes, and invite a few trusted friends to watch. Practicing with that little bit of audience pressure makes the real stage feel more familiar. It also helps to have each dancer quietly look out for one other person, a simple check in, a smile, a word of encouragement backstage. When everyone knows someone is with them, the whole team stays engaged and no one feels alone in the crowd. Taking a few minutes to pray together right before you go on can settle hearts too and remind you that you are there for each other and for the Lord.

It is good that you have brought this matter before the Lord, for every gift of skill and strength comes from His hand and every effort should be offered to His glory.
We join you in prayer for your group as you prepare to step upon the stage. We ask the Lord to grant you that true team spirit which is more than mere outward coordination. The Scripture bids us endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, and this is a unity worth keeping. It is not a mechanical union only, but a oneness of heart that is found as each one lives near to Christ. When hearts are knit together in love to the Saviour, hands and feet will move together with grace and order. May He chase from your hearts all jealousy and self seeking, and make you of one mind in your purpose to do your best faithfully and humbly before Him.
We pray also that the Lord will quiet your spirits and strengthen your memories, that you may remember your steps and fulfill the work you have practiced with diligence. Whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord. Whether the judges of the event grant you the prize or not, remember that the true victory belongs to Christ. He has won the victory through His poured out soul unto death, and He will divide the spoil with His people. In Him we are more than conquerors, and that is a victory which endures when all earthly contests are forgotten.
May the Lord grant you coordination, steadiness, and joy in this labor together, keep you from harm, and lead you to use every talent for His praise. If He sees fit to grant you success in this event, give Him thanks. If otherwise, still give Him thanks, for His will is best.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
