God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, YOUR House of Prayer FOR ALL Nations, Isa 56:7, Mk 11:17, Salvation of ALL PEOPLE, Rulers and ALL in Authority, 1 Tim 2:1-5... Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! "Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice," Ps 45:3-4! "We Pray Not that You Take Them Out of The World, But Rather Keep Them from the evil one," Jn 17:15, We Pray "FOR Leaders and ALL in Authority," 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You "made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, Josh 6:20, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149:1-5, Ps 150:1-5, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Lead us, our country and our leaders (and EACH PERSON THAT PRAYS' COUNTRY & LEADERS) not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, SO WE MAY INTERCEDE WITH YOU,"ASK OF ME AND I WILL GIVE THE NATIONS AS YOUR INHERITANCE AND THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH AS YOUR POSSESSION," Ps 2:8, and, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS," Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17. Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We join you wholeheartedly in this burden for the nations and we thank you for lifting it before the throne of grace with such faith and with so many scriptures. We agree with you that God rules over the nations and that His purposes cannot be thwarted, and we stand with you in intercession for leaders and for all who are in authority.

We are encouraged that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and, In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have come boldly through that name.

Your prayer reflects the heart of God who desires all people to be saved and to come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. We are commanded, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

We agree that the earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein, Ps 24:1, and that, Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance, Isa 40:15. He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings, Acts 17:26. Nothing is outside His sovereign rule and nothing escapes His notice.

We join you in asking Him to restrain evil and to guide leaders, for The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, Prov 21:1. We remember that the spiritual battle is real, for we are not ignorant of his schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, and the enemy is a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44. Yet we take comfort that Jesus prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, Jn 17:15, and He taught us to pray, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. We ask with you that God would intercept evil plans as He did when Elisha was warned of the king of Syria, 2 Kings 6:12, and that He would frustrate retaliation and confusion among those who plot violence.

We agree that His house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples, Isa 56:7, and as Jesus said, My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations, Mark 11:17. We are called to be a holy nation, a royal priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9, and to imitate God as we intercede, for Christ also makes intercession for us, Rom 8:34, and He lives forever to make intercession for them, Heb 7:25. What a privilege that we may intercede with Him, and that He invites us, Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession, Ps 2:8.

So we pray together with you now.

Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, Hallelujah For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns, Rev 19:6. Reign over every nation, over every ruler and strategist, over every unruly place where evil seeks to advance. Restrain the evil one, for the ruler of this world has been judged, Jn 16:11, and give us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, Luke 10:19. Turn the hearts of leaders wherever You desire and cause them to govern justly and to seek truth, humility and justice. We ask that You keep Your people from the evil one and deliver our lands from temptation and from the schemes of the devil. Let praise rise from the rising of the sun to its going down, Ps 113:3, and let worship push back darkness. We confess our sins and the sins of our nations, Dan 9:20, and we ask for mercy and for salvation to come to leaders and to all people in every nation, that they may come to the knowledge of Your Son. Make Your Church a faithful helpmeet to Christ, faithful in prayer and in doing the works You have prepared for us. We rejoice not only in authority over the enemy, but even more that our names are written in heaven, Luke 10:20. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying for the nations and for leaders around the world, and we are grateful for your faithful, persevering heart in prayer. Wanting to see evil restrained, justice done, and people everywhere come to know God's mercy is a Christlike burden, and we are standing with you in it.

It can feel overwhelming to pray at this scale, because the needs are so large and beyond what any of us can fix. We take comfort that God does not ask us to carry the world on our shoulders or to stay anxiously focused on evil itself. He invites us to stay close to Him in steady, humble intercession, trusting that He reigns and hears, even when we cannot see how He is at work.

One thing that helps many who carry this kind of intercession is to make it sustainable. You might choose one or two nations or groups of leaders that are especially on your heart this month and bring them before the Lord at a regular time each day, beginning with a brief time of worship and thanksgiving as you mentioned. That often steadies our own hearts first and keeps prayer from becoming exhausting.

Father, we ask You to restrain evil and guide those in authority toward humility and justice. Draw many to Yourself, protect the vulnerable, and give Your people perseverance in prayer. Give our friend Your peace and strength as he continues to intercede, and help him rest in Your sovereign care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have read your prayer and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, for the burden you carry is a right and holy burden. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, Psalm 24:1, and the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, Revelation 19:6. The nations are as a drop in a bucket, as the small dust of the balance, Isaiah 40:15, and He hath made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation, Acts 17:26. Nothing escapes His sovereign hand, and the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord as the rivers of water, He turneth it whithersoever He will, Proverbs 21:1.

You have done well to pray that the Lord would restrain evil and keep His people from the evil one, John 17:15, for we are not ignorant of his devices, 2 Corinthians 2:11, that murderer and liar from the beginning, John 8:44. We would ask with you that the Lord would spoil the plans of darkness and cause them to conform only to His exact will, Ephesians 1:11, and that as in the days of Elisha, 2 Kings 6:12, and of David, 1 Samuel 20, the Lord would intercept and uncover the counsels of the wicked. There is no power like that of intercession. The secret springs that move the puppets of earth, for kings and princes are often little more than that, are the prayers of God's believing people. When we use that other hand for battle by drawing near to God in powerful, prevalent intercession, we lay hold upon Him who ever liveth to make intercession for us, Hebrews 7:25, and whose Spirit also maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God, Romans 8:27.

Let us not restrain prayer, Job 15:4. Cold prayers court a denial, but oh for men that can lay hold upon the golden knocker of Heaven's gate and make it ring and ring again as if they meant to be heard. When the Church of God cannot take No for an answer, she shall not have No for an answer. Therefore we will wait for You, for You have made all these things. This is the splendid perseverance of importunity which the Lord loves. We pray as you have prayed, for kings and for all that are in authority, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, not that God would bless their evil, but that He would guide them, restrain them, deliver them from temptation and from evil, Matthew 6:13, and above all that He would save them. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5, and He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, the visible image of the invisible God, Colossians 1:15, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, Acts 10:38. We long that rulers and peoples should know Him and keep His commandments, for hereby we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments.

So let us make confession very explicit, coming before God with our own sins and the sins of our families, our city and our country, Daniel 9:20, for we have all sinned and fallen short. Let us pray for those who will not pray for themselves, that God would pray them into prayer and unlock Mercy's door for them. Intercessory prayer is an act of communion with Christ, for Jesus pleads for the sons of men, and when we pray for our fellow sinners we are in sympathy with our Divine Savior who made intercession for the transgressors. God forbid that we should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you and for the nations, 1 Samuel 12:23, but we will teach and we will pray and we will praise, for praise itself has put the enemy to flight, as at Jericho, Joshua 6:20, and as when David played before Saul, 1 Samuel 16:23. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the name of the Lord is to be praised, Psalm 113:3.

My Father's house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations, Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17. Ask of Me and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, Psalm 2:8. Let us ask then, and ask fervently, that the Lord would ride forth victoriously for the sake of truth and humility and justice, Psalm 45:4, that He would restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, and that the Church would indeed be found as His helpmeet, interceding with Him whom to know is life eternal. May the Lord hear us, keep us near Himself, and make us faithful till He comes.
