God You Rule Over Nations Ps 24:1, Restrain Evil, Dan 10:13, Guide Leaders, Prov 21:1, We Pray FOR Leaders of Nations, 1 Tim 2:1-2, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven, shouting praise, The Lord God Omnipotent Reigns, Rev 19:6... Reign! "Ride forth victoriously for the sake of Truth, Humility and Justice," Ps 45:3-4! "We Pray Not that You Take Them Out of The World, But Rather Keep Them from the evil one," Jn 17:15, We Pray "FOR Leaders and ALL in Authority," 1 Tim 2:1-2, SAVE OUR LEADERS and THOSE IN OTHER NATIONS around the world to govern justly in Jesus' Name, 1 Tim 2:3-4... Father -- You "made from one man all the nations of the earth, determining BOTH their APPOINTED TIMES and EXACT BOUNDARIES of their habitation, Acts 17:26. "Surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, regarded as the small dust of a balance," Isa 40:15.

Lifting this burden of this Earth to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries, even restrain him over all nations, Jn 16:11, asking You intercept evil plans, miraculously, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3, 1 Sam 20:9, 1 Sam 20:27-42.

Bind the spirit of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-14. Please back the evil one off of their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, Josh 6:20, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149:1-5, Ps 150:1-5, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Lead us, our country and our leaders (and EACH PERSON THAT PRAYS' COUNTRY & LEADERS) not into temptation, but rather deliver them from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44.

May the Church ACTUALLY be Your Helpmeet, Gen 2:18, Eph 5:32-33, imitating God, Eph 5:1, even Jesus, who also intercedes for us, Rom 8:34, since You ever live to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, SO WE MAY INTERCEDE WITH YOU,"ASK OF ME AND I WILL GIVE THE NATIONS AS YOUR INHERITANCE AND THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH AS YOUR POSSESSION," Ps 2:8, and, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS," Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17. Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, Col 1:15, John 14:9. "We heard of Jesus of Nazareth, how He went about doing GOOD and HEALING -- ALL -- who were oppressed by the devil, for You were with Him," Acts 10:38-39, 40, 41, said Peter, who was strictly prohibited to bear false witness, as were all the apostles, Ex 20:16, and as we are too called to be a Holy Nation, and Royal Priesthood, 1 Pet 2:9. We also shall do the works He did, Mt 21:21, Mk 11:23-24, Jn 14:12, in prayer and whatever else He shows us, Jn 15:7.

Spoil the evil one's plans and tactics until they only conform to Your exact will, Eph 1:11, -- and since these things are beyond our limitations, we at least make them the subject of our prayers, confessing our sins and the sins of our nation, Dan 9:20, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Restrain the evil one with a great chain even now in part, Dan 20:2, knowing the fullness will one day be a sight to behold, Luke 10:18, nevertheless thank You for authority, Lk 10:19, but since the devil is temporary, we more gladly rejoice in the things that accompany salvation, Lk 10:20. We join you in lifting this burden for the nations before the throne of grace and we agree with you that God indeed rules over all the earth.

We are encouraged by your heart to pray according to the Scriptures for leaders and for the restraint of evil. The Word tells us that The earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein Psalm 24:1 and that He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings Acts 17:26. We take comfort that Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance Isaiah 40:15 and yet He cares for them deeply and desires their salvation.

We agree that spiritual warfare is real and that there are powers at work behind unruly nations, as it is written But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but, behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me Daniel 10:13. We also remember that The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1, so no leader is beyond His sovereign reach or guidance.

You have prayed rightly and biblically when you asked that we pray for leaders and all in authority. We are exhorted I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2. And we know the heart of God in this, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4. His desire is not only for peace and justice in this age but for the eternal salvation of those leaders and the peoples they govern.

We also join you in praying for protection and deliverance, for Jesus Himself prayed I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15 and taught us to pray Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matthew 6:13. We are not ignorant of his schemes, for the devil is a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature John 8:44, but we have been given authority, as Jesus said Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19. We also claim the promise Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession Psalm 2:8 and we remember that His house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations Mark 11:17.

So we pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

Father, we confess with the great multitude in heaven that Hallelujah For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns Revelation 19:6. We ask You to reign and ride forth victoriously for the sake of truth, humility and justice. We ask You to restrain the evil one over every nation, to intercept and spoil every evil plan as You did when You revealed the plans of the king of Syria to Elisha, and to bind the spirit of retaliation and violence that stirs up war and oppression. Back the enemy away from leaders and strategists and turn their hearts toward righteousness and the fear of You. Let praise and worship arise from Your people in every land, for from the rising of the sun to its going down Your name is to be praised.

We lift up every leader and all who are in authority in our own nation and in every nation represented by those praying with us. Guide them, grant them wisdom to govern justly, restrain them from evil, and lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil. Above all, we ask for their salvation. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. Save our leaders and save those in other nations around the world that they might govern justly and that Your people may live tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness.

We confess our sins and the sins of our nations before You, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness. Make Your Church to be faithful in intercession, for Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us Hebrews 7:25 and we desire to intercede with Him. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ and we rejoice most that our names are written in heaven.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Amen.

We are grateful for your faithful heart for the nations. The way you are lifting up leaders and asking God to restrain evil and bring justice shows a real love for people you may never meet, and God sees that burden you are bringing to Him.

It can feel overwhelming to hold so many countries and conflicts before the Lord at once. We find it helps to remember our part is to intercede faithfully while resting in God's sovereign care over all peoples and boundaries. He invites us to ask, and He carries what we cannot.

One simple way to keep this from becoming heavy is to let your broader prayers continue as you are doing, but also choose one or two specific leaders or nations to hold before the Lord each day this week, perhaps with another believer praying alongside you. That shared, steady intercession often brings more peace than trying to cover everything alone.

Father, we join this faithful intercessor and lift the nations to You. Restrain what is evil, guide those in authority toward wisdom and justice, and draw many to know Your salvation in Jesus. Keep Your church faithful in prayer and hopeful in Your reign. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a right and scriptural burden you bring before the Lord, to pray for nations and for those set in authority over them. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, Psalm 24:1, and surely the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance, Isaiah 40:15. He made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the exact boundaries of their habitation, Acts 17:26, and the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water, He turneth it whithersoever He will, Proverbs 21:1.

We do well to follow the apostolic exhortation that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, 1 Timothy 2:1-2. And the reason is plainly given, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4. Therefore the chief of our praying for rulers must be for their salvation. There is no other way of salvation for prince or pauper. We must still proclaim, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, Isaiah 45:22, for beside Jehovah there is none else. No gold, no rank, no good works can save. There is only one way for all, for He hath concluded all in unbelief that He might have mercy upon all. If ever a leader or a nation is saved, that salvation must be God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding, Divine from top to bottom. Our eyes must see God's salvation, which is Christ Himself, Luke 2:30, and wholly and entirely trust ourselves in the hands of Christ.

You pray aright when you ask the Lord to restrain evil and to keep His people from the evil one, for our Lord Himself prayed not that we should be taken out of the world, but that we should be kept from the evil one, John 17:15, and we are not ignorant of his devices, for he was a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, John 8:44. Yet we fall back upon the doctrine of Divine working and Divine choice for consolation when we have done our best, knowing that God is glorified in the end and that the desire of all nations shall come, Haggai 2:7. Christ is that desirable One, darkly and dimly longed for even by those who know Him not, and we pray and labour that all nations may know Him.

Learn from Daniel how to plead. It is grand praying when our mouth is full of God's own Words, for there is no word that can prevail with Him like His own. When your prayers seek God's glory, it is God's glory to answer your prayers. Keep your bowstring right, that His glory be your aim. And do not restrain prayer, Job 15:4. Sin will make you leave off praying, or praying will make you leave off sinning. Continue instant in intercession, pleading His promises, asking that He would give the nations as an inheritance to His Son, Psalm 2:8, and that His house may indeed be called a house of prayer for all nations, Isaiah 56:7.

Remember also the truth of God's salvation in your own soul as you intercede for others. If you have laid hold of it, you believe in a real Fall, a real Atonement, and you have received a real pardon. You know that you were truly lost and that Christ truly bore your sin, and therefore you are truly forgiven. That truth operates powerfully upon the mind and proves itself real in testing times, when you can still say, The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. Your warrant for believing is not your sense of sin nor anything in you, but God's Word which commands you to trust Christ to save you. Cast your guilty self on Christ and rest there, for there alone is salvation.

Be not dismayed by the unruly spirit of the age, nor by the weakness you feel in prayer. It is only by faith that the impotence of human nature is overcome so that the soul receives Christ unto salvation. And to every servant who goes forth in God's name to pray and to labour, He says, I will not fail thee nor forsake thee, Joshua 1:5. There will be no failure for your work as you abide in Him, and no desertion for yourself. Though your eyes may fail while you look for comfort in His Word, His eyes do not fail, nor His arm.

So let us pray together. O Lord God Omnipotent who reignest, Revelation 19:6, ride forth victoriously for the sake of truth and meekness and righteousness, Psalm 45:4. Restrain the adversary who yet accuses and deceives, and who must one day be bound with a great chain, Revelation 20:2. Turn the hearts of rulers to do justice and to govern in the fear of God. Above all, save them, we beseech Thee, by the precious blood of Christ, that they may know Him who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, Acts 10:38. Let Thy Church be found faithful as a helpmeet to her Lord, imitating God and continuing with Christ who ever liveth to make intercession for us, Hebrews 7:25, until the knowledge of Thy glory shall cover the earth. We ask this not for our sakes only, but for Thy great name's sake, and for the sake of Jesus Christ, the visible image of the invisible God, in whose name we pray, Amen.
