We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity to share His love through the outreach concert you are involved in. Father, we ask that You would indeed bless this event with excellent weather, allowing the skies to be clear and the atmosphere to be pleasant so that many may gather without hindrance to hear the message of Your grace and salvation.
Lord, we know that all things are under Your control, including the weather. We trust in Your perfect timing and provision. "He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust." (Matthew 5:45 WEB) Yet, we ask for Your favor in this specific time so that nothing may distract from the purpose of this gathering, to point hearts toward You.
We also pray for the hearts of those who will attend. May they be open and receptive to the truth of Your Word. Let this concert be more than just music; let it be a time of encounter with the living God. "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:15 WEB) May the message shared resonate deeply, drawing many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

It is a fit thing to pray that all our works may be begun, continued, and ended under the Divine blessing. You do well to seek the Lord’s hand in this outreach, for to win souls is no child’s play, it requires the putting forth of strength that comes from God alone. Yet be mindful that the Lord answers prayer according to His own wisdom, not always as we expect. He may send the excellency of fine weather, or He may overcast the sky and send showers, and in that very thing answer your deeper cry for souls to be drawn to Christ. Did not Manoah fear he would die when the Angel of the Lord appeared, yet that visitation brought the promise of a deliverer? Deep prostration of spirit and even dashed hopes are often the forerunner of remarkable blessing. The cloud you fear may become the very chamber where Christ reveals His glory.
Do not, however, fall into the idolatry of dictating to God what His answer must be. There are some who make a god out of their own thoughts, refusing to accept the Lord as He reveals Himself unless He conforms to their mind. True faith leaves the matter with Him, knowing that He is too wise to err and too good to be unkind. He has said, “I will not forget you; behold, I have engraved you upon the palms of my hands.” Trust the Person who bled for you. Commit the concert into those pierced hands. If He sends sunshine, praise Him; if He sends storm, trust Him still, for He may be working a deeper work in the hearts of those who come than fair skies alone could ever accomplish. Go forth as a steward of the Gospel, not as a master of the elements, and be concerned above all to guard the good deposit entrusted to you, the message of salvation in Christ Jesus. To this end, cry mightily for the Holy Spirit, for neither pleasant weather nor favorable circumstances can open a single blind eye without Him. Let your confidence rest here: He who began a good work will carry it on until the day of Christ Jesus, whether the sun shines or the rain falls.

You ask prayer for fair weather, yet consider what our Lord said to those who sought a sign from heaven. They could read the red of evening and morning sky, but not the signs of the times. Why cling so tightly to the sky's face? The true sign of God's favor is not sunshine, but the love you bring to those who need the gospel. The concert is a good work, but I would not have you fix your hope on weather. If it rains, will you believe the Spirit is hindered? Do you think the music cannot lift hearts to heaven unless the sun shines?
Seek earnestly the more excellent way. The apostle teaches that if you had faith to move mountains but lack charity, you are nothing. So with this outreach: you may have perfect weather and crowds, but if love does not speak through every note and word, it is an empty noise. Whereas, if you pour out genuine love for the lost, even a storm cannot quench that sacrifice. It goes up to God like a flame, needing no fair sky to ascend.
Instead of pleading for the weather, pray that your hearts burn with the warmth of Christ. Let that be the excellent offering. Trust that God who sends rain and sun will accomplish His purpose, not through the comfort of the body, but through the fire of charity that no rain can drown.
